I'm very happy with my SLDR Mini, but I wouldn't mind giving the TP a run for comparison, apples to apples.

I would like to see more manufacturers doing this. Taylormade has it right on this one, even if they don't have it right with their 4 month product cycles

I went from the SLDR TS 3 wood to the Mini 12 degree (almost 14 degree actual loft). I loved everything about the SLDR TS except for how shallow the face was. I absolutely killed it off the tee and could hit different shots with it from the fairway into long par 5s. I got under it a few times in some of the higher fairways and rough around here. So I was looking for a deeper faced version. The Mini driver had a similar feel to it, which was a great feel, but it spun a ton more. I hit them both a similar distance, but on windy days the SLDR Mini causing problems because of the excess spin. So I stopped playing it. This new AeroBurner Mini TP should fix the spin issues with the longer hosel. I'm digging my TEE 11.5 right now so I'll probably wait a little bit before I switch or try it out.

Interesting...Thanks for the insight. I am trying hard to let this club (3 wood/mini driver/?) sneak up on me versus buying the first thing I see.

How does a longer hosel fix anything regarding spin?
