I'm still not entirely sure how the MP-H5 and MP-15 differ. Anyone care to cliff notes it for me?
The H5 is a progressive players GI set...lol.

This is directly from the Mizuno USA site on the H5

1 Through 6 Iron: Full hollow design with high COR maraging steel face for easy launch and long, consistent distance.

7 Through PW: Half hollow 1025E Grain Flow Forged design for easy launch and soft, solid, consistent feel.

Aggressive Set Flow: High foregiveness long irons to compact short irons.
The MP 15 is a full forged players iron.

Again from Mizuno USA on the MP 15

Ti Muscle: Delivers increased forgiveness with solid feel.

Grain Flow Forged 1025E “Pure Select” mild carbon steel and pure titanium combine to provide the ultimate soft, solid and consistent feel.

Tour Proven Sole and Compact Head: Deliver consistent turf interaction for enhanced control and workability.

Here is the odd thing I have found between the H4 and H5 ( I have not hit the H5's, own the H4's). Everyone says the H5 looks better, thinner top line, but why did they go hollow all the way through the set on the H5?

The H4 have normal forged Mizzy scoring irons.

2-4 Hybrid Long Irons: thin and high COR Grain Flow Forged 4135 face, neck, and sole. Low and deep COG for easy high launch and a seamless transition to mid irons.

5-7 Irons - Hybrid Mid Irons: Grain Flow Forged face and neck for medium COR and reduced hollowness that flows seamlessly to the scoring irons. The medium COG depth with higher MOI for greater forgiveness.

8-PW - Players 1/2 Cavity Design: One-piece Grain Flow Forged and shallow COG and moderate MOI for precise control and workability.

Had Mizuno used a brushed steel finish on their MP-54's, I may have already purchased Mizuno irons before the Nike VPC.

H5's much, much easier to hit. Higher COR and higher ball flight. MP-15's are the classic Mizuno player's iron.

To those who have hit the new driver, how is it compared to most other drivers that are out now?
Pretty much in line with a lot of the other lower spinning drivers that are out now. Looks good, feels good, pretty forgiving, good numbers, etc. Mostly comes down to preference at that point. One selling point is it comes stock with Speeder 6.3 TS.

As a lefty, I'm used to getting limited options in irons...but it's really disappointing the MP-15s aren't available in LH (especially since the MP-59 were available in LH and are very similar).

How is the launch on the MP-15 long Irons with the C-taper Lites? Was looking at getting the whole set, but trying to figure out what shaft.

The only real difference I saw between C Taper Lite X and pretty much all the 130-ish gram X-flex shafts was ball speed. Launch was within 1 degree for all the shafts I tried but with the increased ball speed, the peak height of the C Taper lite was a little higher. If you're coming from KBS Tour to C Taper lite you're dropping at least 10 grams shaft weight depending on flex. I found that difference to be very significant, you're results may vary. So to answer your question more directly, the launch is great in the long irons. The lower weight helps create more speed but the shaft is still stable and produces a strong trajectory. Some people may be put off by the lower weight, though, so it's best to try it out.
