Scotty Cameron 2015 GoLo Putters

It is an interesting concept...and I hope it feels and lives up to the MOI benefits as touted. We can't move them at $299 right now, so $380 will be a very hard sell, even if it blows away someones gamer.
At least the deep milling is gone on these...killed his last two lines IMO, especially the last release.

You don't have to like the whole line just one of them and I cant wait to get a Golo 5. My only complaint is having to wait until April. Need to fight the urge to send it off to the custom shop like my last three Scottys.

I have the option of buying the ugliest one, or none at all. Why do I ever get my hopes up. If this holds true, Titleist has lost my business for good. I've spent more then 5,000 on titleist equipment in less then 3 yrs.

The sole plates are also the faces of the putters. I dont think that your polymer idea is USGA approved. If that is not a concern, spray away!

Was able to see them in person today at the PGA show. Scotty was in the booth and I got a few minutes with him. I mentioned the construction similarities with the Detour He discussed it was similar materials but used in a new way to create some of the most stable putters he has ever produced. I liked the Golo 3 the best !!

I get the concept for MOI but I feel a uniform finish could have really helped the line. Why are so many putters coming out with hard/industrial lines on them?
For me they need to look smooth to promote a smooth stroke.

I'd like to see these pictured in natural light, otherwise they look like something Tutankhamen would have played 18 holes with back in the day. I kind of got misty-eyed looking at these. The 6 looks beautiful even if it's a chunky B60 descendent.

How much wider is the 6 than a Newport 2. Will the toe flow on the 6 be the same as the single bend shaft on the Notchback?

Looks an interesting line of putters and something I'll try when they arrive here in the UK. I've always liked the feel of insert putters but never really putted well with them...Maybe the change of insert design will help with consistency??

It's funny when you read some the negative comments as I look at the recent release from Odyssey and it looks like they've cobbled together all the leftover parts from the last few lines and built them into the new range! imo

I'm not a fan at all. As a Select GoLo 5 user I wont be upgrading and I don't even think I'd pick one up to try.

That said Id rather this release than releasing the same putters in a different finish year after year.

You may not like the new look, but I've always found one in his new lines that will work for me. Just picked up the X5R and love the lines. Wait until the line is released and then "DAM THEM" if you need to. Scotty is pushing the envelope to keep up with the competition. Isn't Callaway #1 in putter sales at this time???

I think they look ok and are probably expensive to manufacture,hence the high price. You can't make the same shapes over and over and inspire new sales. These could be the best feeling, smoothest rolling putters ever. I never liked hitting the bottom edge below the insert on my Odessy. Look forward to giving these a try.

Wondering if any haters here has seen the putters in person? A friend whom went to PGA show actually liked them and might order one. I'll withhold my comments (as usual) until I try it out in person.

Only thing I don't like about Scotty Cameron putters is their high retail price.

If these putters are ugly does that also make the TMAG and Versa putters ugly? To me these ascetically look much better than those.

Got to look at these and roll them at the PGA Show. Simply horrible! I can honestly say that Scotty's putters seem to be getting progressively worse with every new "technological" advancement he includes.

Time to go back to making simple, classic milled putters with no technological gimmicks.

I've always liked the look of the Del Mar but can never get rid of the Newport 2 that I have. I am not a fan of the GoLo 5 though. Don't like the shape at all. Any pics of the headcovers?

Digging the Golo 3 might have to get one. Scotty has said he likes inserts but he doesn't want to see the insert at address, plus mishits can miss a traditional insert. His "insert" is the whole face so it's always struck when putting and no insert shows at address.

I am normally a Newport 2 fan but picking up a dual balance Golo 5 I can't argue with the results. I may pull the trigger on one today. I lined it up very easily and the balance was so good. I know a lot of people don't care for the looks and I get it there are other Scotty's that look wise are way better but I didn't mind the look after putting with it for a while. I also thought I wouldn't like the insert feel but it really grew on me. I am surprised by the performance. I don't think it looks gimmicky at all when I was comparing it to other brands.

These feel pretty great. Softest Cameron I've tried and the standard grip is awesome (no surprise there, it always is). Definitely a modern look which might rub some the wrong way but the MOI increase and soft feel is appealing.
