I have one but I never seem to remember to throw it in my bag. You either carry a desert club, tear your clubs up, or quickly learn to play the professional blade haha

Or option 4, don't hit it over there.

That is what I was going to say. I have 7 desert clubs in my bag lol. And the Ping S55's aren't ugly TOM! I'm going to tell my mom on you for being a bully.
S55s are purdy clubs. Shiny! Would look better if you were still rocking the pink Speedcart.

unfortunately a worst round or Low gross requires everyone to play their ball out regardless of their partners score/situation on the hole. Which defeats the speed gaining purposes of cart best ball.

Oh and if you do a long drive hole I would recommend 7, 8, 13 or 16
Good point re score. always thought 13 was a good LD hole. 7 you can cut the corner which skews the numbers

Is it open only to AZ people or can I join hypothetically from NV if I make the drive?
Not just limited to AZ guys just the first 28 who can commit to the event.

For anybody who has a long enough drive to compete in our LD that hole actually plays perfectly straight. Most people start it way to far to the right when they should really be over the left edge of that bunker which gives them a huge margin for error in the 290 - 350 range. It is part of the genius of that hole.

I think 8 or 13 are the best options. 9 and 18 both have hills in the landing area that introduce way too much luck into the first or second bounce.

Have you been secretly competing in long drive competitions Ryan? You are putting a lot of thought into which hole plays as LD. I'm getting nervous now. I hope Joe brings his A game because you two absolutely HAVE to use this as your rubber match.

Lolz I have no chance in the LD, I just like metagame type rules conversation.

Rubber Match sounds fun...maybe I can have my then 3 month old daughter caddy for me...I have been getting a lot of practice time with a newborn + finishing my dissertation + board exam + clinic hours.

Matt add my bud Andrew to the mix. So I am 1 + 1...we are about the same Hdcp so if we could tee it up together as opponents that would be great.

Matt are you and Mark going to be the captains?
LOL I thought it was going to be you and Mark. I will if I have to would prefer not to do it though. Kinda have my hands full at the moment with this work and some other stuff that I am working on.

Picking teams will be one of the last things we do that way we dont have to scramble with last minute drop outs etc.
