It is affecting everyone. I ordered some balls directly from a major OEM on July 12. They are backordered and not expected until some time early September. These are cheap balls I put in play where there is a lot of trouble so I don't lose one of my more valuable balls, the Snell MTB-Black.

Just went back to Snell… I had played e Bridgestone B X and enjoyed them… looking forward to hitting the Snell again.

Based on the results of the 2021 ball test, I'm thinking I'm going to move over from Kirkland to the Snell MTB-X. I think I might be giving up way too much distance in favor of spin that I might not even need, considering the softer conditions I usually play in.

I’m  little confused why the mtb-x was picked over the Z Star… they seem pretty much the same but the z start went farther… happy for Snell, though… I’ve got 2 dozen in route…

Ok ... so I love ProVs ... I love MTB Blacks & I've been playing Maxfli Tours (which i love) about a month

 

Was waiting until yellers were back in stock as i wanted to try the MTBX

 

Got them today 

Put them in play

 

X (Imo) is the best ball out there ... off the driver not much difference but the X shines in iron play (for me)

 

Off the tee

Out of fairway

Out of rough

W the wind

Into the wind

 

Easily a club longer w high flight & serious bite

 

Bite on 50 yards spinners

 

Just my 2 cents

My 3 fav balls to date are the 21 Pro V1 yellow , Maxfli Tour yellow and Snell MTB Black yellow.  
 

I don’t care so much for the X.  Not sure why but when I played the MTB -X my irons felt shorter.

Understand ... not much differentiation w driver irons were completely different for me

Long time XV player since Gen 2, literally. I play the MTB-X and MTB Black and imo, it's close to the X. But I do go back to the 19 XV since i have so many in stock. Plus, the flight, control and distance is still very good abliet the quality of the spinskin is not as durable as the earlier gens. Sad.

 

I've also had scuff issues with the Snells as well. Look no ball is that durable but sometimes I think they are cause I was so spoilt with the early Gen XVs durability.

Ordered 2doz MTB-X in optic yellow today. Looking forward to them. Not that my 20 cap butt will be able to tell the difference between it and the Kirkland... Bet  I can hook the MTB-X into the adjacent fairway just as well 😂

I'm on the Snell website literally everyday waiting for the value packs of the Black to come back. The X is there so I'm hoping soon. I'm taking some time off to play golf next month and need a restock!

Not sure how I missed them, but I picked up two dozen yellow mtb x’s before they sold out. I started digging today and found 7 dozen more in the back of the closet! How does one lose track of 7 dozen golf balls??

Same here.  I bought the limit of yellow Blacks few weeks back.  And 2 doz of the Maxfli Tour yellow.  I’ll have to buy more of those for now, I guess

We are looking to have the X yellow and Black yellow arriving here in a week to 10 days if all goes well... but they are made and are on the way... now its up to the logistics of getting delivered to our warehouse which we are keeping in touch every day.    Again, I really appreciate everyones patience here.. I cant tell you how many times I wanted to revert back to my hockey days, and pull someones shirt over there head and pummel them with uppercuts... haha.. just kidding, sort of.....

We hope to have the value packs back up for the Black (white cover) around first week of October... and the yellow value packs by Mid October which is dependent on the shipments they "say" are on the way... the shipping continues to be a big challenge for everyone.   Vessels are scheduled, then delayed, the re scheduled, then delayed again... so we monitor it daily.. the golf balls have been made, we are just waiting for them to get to us so we can open things back up... that is the delay now.
