SNELL GOLF BALLS??? anyone???

I play both Snell balls (as I go thru my Get Sum) inventory. The Get Sum is more forgiving off the tee. Both are long. When the swing is working the MTB is butter.

great name for a ball... BUTTER... or as they say in Mass.. BUTTAH......

I must charge you 1 free dozen of the new Snell Buttah for use of that name. Haha! One thing I realized early in my golf adventure - hitting a long iron in the sweet spot felt like hitting a ball of butter. Even if it is a Rock Flite.

To be a pedant that's the club's doing as much as the ball.

Surely a name for the balls would be DARTS ;)

Or DRTS - Dynamic Reliable Tour Spin... OK, that might be more up TMAG's ally, lol

Hi... I have gotten a lot of email and messages asking about the new protos... so quick update... The proto work is just abut complete. I wasnt happy with a couple of results, so made another minor change to the design. .. last series of performance testing going on this month, and packaging design also almost completed....appreciate you patience..

So will it be a four-piece or five-piece ball? :)

it will for sure have multiple layers... and for sure have urethane cover..... :golfer:

just going to throw this out there. YELLOW

Hate to be that guy but, that TRUVIS pattern is money. Don't copy it but, make a play at a HI VIS ball.

Played Bridgestone B330S before discovering the Snell MTB. Just purchased some B330S and B330 balls last month during the buy 2 get one free promo. Used the Bridgestones one round and went right back to the MTB. The Bridgestones are great balls, but I just prefer the MTB. I sold the remaining Bridgestones already. Buying more MTBs soon.

With all due respect, you are the guy. You truly stink, Stanks.

I'll work on it. Just another young buck that is transitioning to golf from a childhood full of soccer, baseball, and pretty much every other sport under the sun.

I've only played MTB from Snell. I know the other one is still out there for trial and error and might give them a whirl soon.

Somehow, i didnt like ksig from the moat recent sale. Sold them all on ebay.

Has anyone really compared the Ksig to the MTB? Just wondering because I really haven't had both in my bag at the same time.

I've not done a side-by-side comparison but I have played both fairly extensively. About the biggest difference I have noticed for me is that the Ksig is a little harder for me to control around the green and the MTB may have a little more spin on full iron shots. Distance is a wash as far as I am concerned.

I like ksig from the very first sale. My preference may have changed or I got so used to MTB. But it seemed like the latest ksig is not the same as the first one. Somehow different characteristics like feel and distance. MTB has always been the same.

BTW, I gamed at El Prado and looked forward to snagging MTB from the pick-up truck vendor. None he had. I was pretty disappointed.

Thanks. I probably would agree about the green side characteristics from what I remember about the MTB. I am

looking forward to picking up another box of the MTB. Also looking forward to the new MTB.

Ksig is on its way out of my bag.

IF we were to have a new ball, would you prefer:

1. Increased spin with short irons and around greens in White only.

2. Increased spin with short irons and around greens but in YELLOW only

3. Lower spin with short irons and around greens in white only.

4. Lower spin with irons and around the greens but in YELLOW only

5. HIgher spin ball in both white and yellow

6. Lower spin ball in both white and yellow.

lets hear your comments... thanks....

Bummer about the guy at Prado. I guess it's still not used by as many players yet.

Option number 1 for me.

honest question. if you are interested in more spin why would you not say option 5? the only difference is that it provides a color option.

Little lower spin off driver is my only complaint on MTB over the tour plats I love. If that means slightly less mid and short game spin I'm ok wth that; I already create a ton of spin. Maybe a little higher launch with the lower spin would help stopping power

Personally I don't like looking down at anything but white golf balls. Choices for others is great but if you could only do one color then I'd pick white

Because I don't need or want added spin on my driver or long irons.

I don't either. But option 1 and 5 are the same except for the option of having it in two colors.
