Desert Pines Golf Club - Las Vegas

Good morning all,

I am thinking about playing Desert Pines Golf Club (Las Vegas) next month. Does anybody have any comments about their playing experiences at this course? Is the round worth $159.00? Thanks in advance :-)

159 is very steep for that track IMO, its nestled in the worst part of town, The tee boxes put you in constant danger from other holes that are playing back into you.

I'm playing Pauite up north next week. For about the same price, I'm starting on Wolf in the AM and doing a reply on one of the other courses in the afternoon. Lunch is included in the price as well.

Check out their golfapalooza special. Great value if you can get up that way. About 30 miles north of the strip.

Not only no but H%LL NO! Probably one of the most overpriced courses in the area, if you have a car make the drive to Paiute where it is 54 holes of perfection.

Thank you for your opinion and hospitality Golfinnova! I am actually planning on playing during the week but I really appreciate your generosity. I will definitely search for a different track!

Legacy and Wildhorse are good cheap courses $40-50.Also recommend Tuscany and Revere -Lexington and concord courses and Red Rock and Paiute Wolf

We have played it the past two years as our last round of a Mesquite St George trip....out of the 32 guys most liked it. Personally, it did not do much for me. In my book, that is at most a $65-75 a round with cart and range balls course.

I've played it a few times over the last couple of years and have generally enjoyed it. It gets a lot of hate for reasons unknown to me. If you can get it for under $100 per person, do it. I've seen it on golfnow for as little as $69 recently. Whatever you do, don't pay $100+ to play it, it's a decent course but not good enough for that.

The layout is ok aside from having to avoid hitting the billboards on the holes that parallel 93. However, it's always has been overpriced from the days when it was run by Billy Walters to present as part of Eagle Golf.

I received an email from them on Monday announcing a local "deal" for only $69 which is laughable. Much better options in the area for a lot cheaper.
