Anyone playing their drivers shorter than stock?

 

I'm considering ordering the VFP at 44.5" but was curious if Nike compensates for the swing weight difference when they custom build.

I play all 3 of my Nike drivers at 44"...I have found Nike heads to be on the heaver side so no issues with swingweight and needing to add weight.

If I order this direct from Nike do they do anything to accommodate the swing weight difference? I'm not even sure I'll notice the difference to be honest I have never had a driver cut shorter.

I have mine cut down to 44.5 and I can't really tell. However I also went with a 50 gram shaft so it's actually lighter than 50. My pro suggested a lighter shaft. So far loving the combo just need to work out the kinks in my swing.

They don't guarantee swing weights. You can request but no guarantee

Got it in large my size across the board in Nike but it was tight on my back and would feel awkward in my backswing, sold it

 

Update: Jacket arrived this morning - awesome jacket! I'm 6'2" 190ish and it's not restricting at all in a Large.

How's your ballflight with the nano? I was thinking about doing something similar to achieve that mid launch without feeling like I have to "help" the ball.
