I’d say 001, but it all depends on what you like looking at and what kind of putting stroke you have.

Trying to decide on a Method 001 or Prototype The Oven 003w.

 

Which one should I pull the trigger on?

Dang. Two really great putters, my favorite 2 styles they ever made. I’ve got a 001 and love it. But it’s hard to pass up a piece from the oven. I think I might take the 003, it’s a great looking mid mallet style, but it’s not super thick anywhere, still feels like a players putter.

Question regarding VPCs...Does removing the badge (on the 8-pw while I was mm proto-ing) dramatically affect the playability and/or swing weight to where I should replace them or add some lead tape? I didn’t think about this until after I butchered them during removal process. I also haven’t had the chance to hit them yet, or I’d probably be able to answer my own question lol

2 of 6. Sold 1 set already. Missing a brand new 5 and 6. Ive got a couple waiting pretty clean but not brand new. Also got a brand new 2 iron. Pretty happy thus far.

I am in the process of MM Proto'ing it. Got the PVD off, now have the orange goo siting in the volt.

I actually like the original look too much to not want to mess it. However, if I ever did mm proto my set, I’d leave the graphics on the badge plate rather than remove them, like you have pictured. Then black out the swoosh.
