I have two questions..

 

1. It's time for me to get a new cart/carry bag. Any suggestions?

 

2. Can one order a midsize method grip directly through Nike? (doesn't Rory use a similar grip?)

 

I love both the hybrid carry bag and performance cart IV bag. I had recently exchanged the hybrid for the performance cart only because I ride or walk with a push cart. Never carry. So I wanted something that sat nicer in the carts. I also really enjoy the added pockets. Especially. The front magnetic flip pocket on the cart bag. The cooler pocket is much larger on the cart bag too. That is an added bonus for me as well.

 

I do however feel as if the clubs get stuck a little easier in the cart bag than they did in the hybrid bag.

Great day, haven't played in month, maybe close to two.

 

46 on front, 41 on the back. Hit all fairways in the back 9. Got my driver and 3 wood going.

 

Pretty windy day. 20-25 mph winds most of the day.

 

My 52 is bent to 51 and 54 is standard. Took out my 4 iron and using 3, then 5-PW.

 

I guess it works for now. Haha.

The only reason I didn't was because I still want to hit the Fly Pro 2-Iron. Has anyone hit one yet? I'm curious about hitting it off the tee.

I just picked up a brand new vapor pro driver for $110 Canadian. This thing has the potential to be the best driver I have owned., The feel and shape are amazing. with a few sim sessions and and range session it feels promising. I'm not overly confident with the driver but majority of my contact as been in the center and the mishits seem to be a lot straighter than I am use to.

Just got off the phone with Golfsmith. I ordered a pair of chukkas on the 18th of February and still haven't received them. Looks like tomorrow I should have them now. Free overnight shipping. Even with that, I still feel jipped. I wanted these for the release and never had issue with GS. Looks like NDC will be the only place I go now.

sorry to hear about that. I ordered my chukkas from GS early this month, and picked them up from the store last week. I'm sure your order fell thru some weird crack.

I never even got an e-mail stating they were backordered. I had to call 4 different times just to find out anything.

Ok guys I have an all nike bag a little older equipment due to not getting much time to play the last two years. My question is the wedges I currently have are vr pro II ds 55* and 59*. My previous set before these were vr wedges. Do you all play your dual sole wedge differently than a square grind wedge. When I open these wedges up in the bunker and hit a shot I have to damn near take a full swing to get the ball out of the bunker. Is this normal. The only way I get out the sand with any consistency is to leave the club square like I was going to hit a normal shot.

Those are some of the best irons Nike has made to date. Minus some of the blades. I play these. Fantastic iron imo.

Is the "Pro Model" grip just some off brand grip? I was already thinking of throwing on a multi compound like the rest of my clubs have. Mine should be in tomorrow.

Pure Sexiness Just Arrived!

 

Literally the size/offset of the original forged pro combos with a great leading edge grind. So excited to give them a go. Scored a killer deal on these via the BST! KBS Tour V120X blue Z grips 1* upright and these are much longer than standard length. Specs show the 5iron is 38.75"!!! Its going to be interesting to learn the gaps and how to choose wedges. These are 4-AW so maybe pick up a 54/58 and bend to 53/57. When I get the chance I'll try to post up some pics showing the differences between the OG PC, 2014 Cavity PC, and the Fly Pro's.

I played the 2014 PC's last year, sold them to try 3 other sets, grabbed some 2011 PC's and first round w them I fired a 68

then sold those cause I'm an idiot, now back to the 2014 PC's !!!! LOL!

4th time "owning" vr pro combos. .....pured and 8 iron that ended up passed hole on downwind par 3.....didn't. Feel. A. Thing. ....this was with RZN TOUR PLATINUM btw....also pocket cavities felt so much better with this ball.

 

Last 2 rounds with 11's.....31/36 gir's ....boy did I miss the feel and precision of these!
