Buttery soft but very stout at the same time. It's quite lovely feeling. Not worth $400 but luckily it just came with the putter.

 Sounds about right.  I figured it wasn’t worth $400 and all but was wondering how swayed I should be for auctions that have them.  i need to install the fire express shaft I have in garage, I just don’t really Have a putter for it.

Otey Crisman flanged putter. Hickory shaft, nice patina. Putts well with excellent feel.

Acushnet Bulls Eye brass putter. Easy to aim, great feel, not too heavy. My regular go-to putter. Deadly accurate.

I honestly don’t know, it feels like it is 355 range, but Not sure if that is from the huge neck or fact it is total toe hang.
 

It is a really special putter, I haven’t used it in a while and I forgot both how amazing it feels and how rewarding it is to rotate through 8802 style putters.  I’m really happy I pulled trigger when the chance came up, it is one of the better ones in the stable.  They are probably hard to come by now. Not sure when they stopped making them.

I was 5 grams off, I’ll take it on a guess! 
 

I used it on a green today for first time in a while and putted lights out, even inside 10ft was crazy good and the distance control was better than the other putters I brought.  I often forget I have this and I shouldn’t, it is just my only 8802 style putter so I don’t ever take it as seriously as I should.

Like that a lot.  I have a Mann blade that is more like a tpmills style.  I think after breaking out the zen for first time in a while and putting so well with it I am going to look to add a couple more 8802 putters….

Those are Lamont's paint.  I don't have the putter yet.  

 

But your statement is true.  I like to change things up every once in a while.  I have a rusty NP2 PP I just got done nickel then copper plating.  Doing the paintfill on it.

I have gained such an appreciation for oil can the last few years. I have an oil can NP2 that I planning to send to BOS for a refinish soon, it is just such a beautiful look!

The oil cans that I have seen pictures of coming out of BOS are out of this world.

Make sure to post that when it gets back.  Any idea of the turnaround for BOS?

Last I heard was 4-6 weeks. I sent a 33"/350g Newport a couple years ago and it came back so fast. They said because it was already in good shape they didn't have to do much work before the finish. I feel like it was seriously 2 weeks. I'll probably send mine out over the summer....I told my wife that's what I want "for my birthday," haha.
