If you guys are missing the quality Adams stuff of yesteryear just take a peek at Wilson Staff. Vrska is the head designer there, used to be at Adams.

I heard that the price point was going to be rarely low with these, so there might be a chance of a cheap build.

Adidas is not going to sell them because you have to package things to get placement in golf. Ex. If you carry my clubs it is x price. If you carry my apparel too, it is x-1. If you carry my balls too, it is x-2. If you carry my gloves too, it is x-3. See what I'm getting at?

I'm in Malaysia, I hit the Blue driver and the new Blue irons during a demo day abt 2 weeks ago. I only realized these were not released in the US yet when I emailed Adams for the irons specs...should hv taken photos, could've been a scoop!

Don't remember much about the driver, I think the shaft was an Aldila made-for-Adams, I tested the stiff and it still felt whippy. Maybe it was an Asian spec shaft like what TM usually put into its woods / hybrids sold in Asia.

The Blue irons were easy to hit like the RSi1 though it felt harsher on mishits. There was a barbell shaped slot on the bottom but I don't remember seeing a slot near the toe. I demoed the irons with Dynalite 85 stiff shafts but these also felt soft.

The Blue driver shaft has a .320 tip. I saw it at an industry seminar last week.

The Red and Blue series clubs were on the rack at PGATSS this morning. No demos yet, so I only got to look. The Red looks amazing, compact head and had Tour Velvet as stock. The Blue drivers, fairways and irons looked like the complete set "box" stuff that Adams offered previously, cheap.

What's the stock shaft with the red? They don't seem to have that listed anywhere. I'm hoping it's still something premium, or at least mainstream. But given the way things are looking, I would assume it's also a light weight made-for.

Hey all: Didn't I hear that some of the Adams golf designers went to Wilson golf? This could have been done when TM bought Adams golf and they became expendable. I agree that when one company buys another they don't want them to compete for the same segment of golfers just like what happened to Ben Hogan golf when Callaway bought Top-Flite/Hogan golf. Thanks
