White PURE DTX Grips on Ebay

Notice a few of these sets popping up on Ebay. They are different than the retail model I have on my other clubs because the paintfill in the lettering is white as well, instead of black. Kind of threw me off but the pricing seems pretty solid. Any idea if these are real or fake?

I can't speak for the DTX grips, but a few months back there was a post on another forum about Pure P2 Wrap grips without paintfill. These were confirmed by Pure to be of a different rubber compound that would 'bloom' after time.

Edit: I'm sure they are not fake, but may not be up to Pure's tight specs.

Well just giving a follow up. They feel great. Almost just like my other Pure DTX grips. A few things I noticed though. The rubber looks a little thicker in these than the others. And the inside is stamped 60x instead of 60 like my others. I always understood this as meaning a grip is ribbed, but I do not feel a reminder. Either way, they feel like authentic Pure Grips.

I just installed these yesterday. Feel great. Haven't hit them yet though.

I have the green DTX grips on all my irons and wedges right now. A very unique feel and you can definitely play them without a glove. After about 2 months I still am not sure if I really like them in general. I don't dislike them but sometimes my clubs seem to slide/spin in my hands which is no Bueno. I will probably give them a little more time but I'll probably be replacing them sooner than later.

Whenever I first started playing them, I felt they were a little "wet" feeling at times too. After playing with them, and gently sandpapering the rough edges, I felt they got a lot more tacky.

Just got mine new dtx std grips from pure (member:threeputtforepar). They all have 60x on the inside. I remember they changed the rubber formula a cpl yrs ago so maybe the new ones have the x on them?

That may be. Would just find it odd they would stamp them the same as the ribbed golf prides I have had.

I am pretty sure this guy is correct. They are just the new rubber compound and these are a little thicker than the older. They feel great if anyone is looking for a new grip.

Noticed now the seller is selling some DTX grips that have no stamping at all on the grip. Only thing that is stamped is butt cap. Anyone try these, any reason to avoid?
