Shot 71 today with an eagle on 18 (446 yard par 5 sharp dogleg left around a lake). Stinger driver down right center of fairway. Wind over right shoulder so I drew a 3h from 200 over the lake to 35'

windy conditions, sometimes up to 25mph. 42/39 - 81(+11). not the round i had in mind. the driver was working well at times. others i couldn't seem to stay in the fairway. putting well though and sticking greens.

Mediocre scoring round, but I got my first Ace.

You're pretty nonchalant about your first ace. Congrats!

Also, what app is that?

Thanks man. It was cool, I had never seen one before.

Golfshot. Been using it for years. It is pretty squared away.

Horrible outing, wet fairways and fast greens. Not good conditions for a guy who hits it fat occasionally and struggles with the putter!

52 on the front. No penalties, just scuffled it everywhere and putted horrible. Took a 7 on a par 3, and snowman on the following par 4.

43 on the back with a double, bogey then stretch of +1 over 5 holes, finished bogey, double.

Broke even, -$5 on the team match,+$5 on side bet. My buddy saw how bad I played the front, and jumped on for $5 on he back.

Just broke 80 for the first time in 18 months, lowest round in prob 5 years - had a 6 over 75 including 3 birdies. Left tons out there as well, needless to say am ecstatic this evening - can't wait to try and do it again and go lower next time I play. Used my mp32's and had the course to myself :-)

Had a good day at a mid tier Muni. Rained on two holes bad but fine otherwise. Shot a 103, but I had 3 triples, so I'm not too bummed with the rest of my game.

Finally got rid of my x forged (07) r flex graphite irons for a nice set of x-22's and wow, I don't know why I didn't go gi with proper flex years ago.

My main issue is always just consistency. I could Easily shave ten strokes off my rounds if i could get rid of fat/thin/topped shots. However, glad to report It was literally impossible for me to not hit these irons the distance I wanted. They don't dig with my swing like the more bladed x forged and They launch so easily..if I Missed it was left but always pin high with the x-22's which is new since I normally lose the war against slice.

But All in all had some good drives(250-260 not as much roll as Normal since the rain) , some good approaches, a nice long breaking downhill (15') putt on a par 5, and a new set of clubs to hit that made it a great day for golf.

Edit: also the last hole I hit my drive about 260 up the left then had 150 to the hole but I was under a tree line for about 50 feet. Had to hit a punch. Did a hinge and hold with my 3 hybrid, went screaming down about 10 feet high for 80 yards then I got to watch it roll out all the way up onto the green to about 10 feet. Was a good way to close out

Mediocre scoring round, but I got my first Ace.

Congrats on the ace!

My scores are terrible, but I can feel myself hitting the ball better after my 4th time out, it's just that the scores aren't showing it yet. I have too many meltdown holes and I haven't played in many years.

I shot a 69 on the back 9(yup terrible, but I can feel myself breaking in the 50s for 9 any round now) which is 6200 yards from the whites. I had 26 putts so I really need to work on my putting. I spent about an hour before the round working on my chipping and pitching and improved it quite a bit from where I was, but I need to try and spend a good hour or more between that and putting before my rounds. I'm pretty much a total beginner as my prior experience was never more than a dozen rounds in a year.

My best shot was on hole 17 a 180 yard par 3. I took my 5 iron and put it to the right and slightly far about 20 feet away. I was thrilled with it until I 3 putted it for bogey. I'll take the bogey though as it beats shooting a snowman or worse. On the last hole, which is probably the widest fairway on the course, I lost 3 balls in the woods. It was a total meltdown.

Had one of those days where they seemingly went in from everywhere. Holed out a 35metre bunker shot that hit the green and then spun straight into the cup. Won the competition with a field of just over 240 players with 44 stableford points which equals a gross 75 off a daily handicap if 11! Needless to say I'm going to sleep happy tonight ;)

31 points. Went out in 19 with 2 three putts. Hailstones arrived on the back 9 and it was around 5 degrees c. The course is mud filled at the moment, so I skied 3 hybrids on the fairway. 2 out of bounds on the back 9. 7 iron to 4 foot on lady mar and missed birdie. Good signs early season though. Need better weather

I hit a 61 for 9 yesterday. I was actually pretty happy with that, minus the two par 5's that I shot an 11 and 12 on. I had 36 shots inside 50 yards for those 9 holes so my short game needs major work. Still, my 5th game after 5 years or so I'm fairly pleased with my long game. I never had a short game before either as I never played and practiced enough. I'm trying to put in the practice and I have a membership to really test it out!
