Jim Furyk, who is ranked #10 in the OGWR plays regular flex (albeit Hard Stepped once) shafts in his irons... Inspiration for us regular/slower swing speed hitters! Lol

So I got that going for me

It's all in the rhythm. A smooth swing will work with a lot of different flexes.

You probably have a much harder transition. ....years back Nick Price was playing a stiffer iron shaft than John Daly.....now JB Holmes is "only" playing s400 in his MC'S. ....I remember the regular at 110 being 5.5 on rifle scale but feeling "softer"

I too like 110 shafts. ...sub 100 feels really light and greater than 125 awkwardly heavy.

He used to play KBS TOUR R+.... but idk that was few years ago

Seems like a typo..plays x in driver and S400 in wedges...doesn't seem right

I was surprised by this too. Maybe he likes the weight of the regulars or just the feel. Some feel things are not really explainable.

I think he played an ahina 70X tipped like 1.5" in his driver when playing the kbs r+ in his irons!

Control and stability with the driver, more height and workability with the irons. Not sure what seems so weird about that?
