What Kind of Designs Would You Like to See?

A friend of mine is producing headcovers and is in the design process. I thought I ask what kind of putter headcovers golfers would like to see. Most people would probably mention the likes of Scotty Cameron and ComoCome. Firstly, would this be the kind of cover you guys are interested in? Also, what would you like to see on the putter cover?

How about an easy slip on and off kind that stays on and can be slipped into your pocket when putting. No velcro.

I agree, the velcro is a royal pain. If someone could design a putter cover with magnets that open and close like some of the TM TP driver covers, that would be much easier to use. You know the ones that sort of "peel" open and close the same way, just not sure the magnets would be strong enough for a putter cover.

 

Or I even prefer a putter cover that has the putter enter the back of the cover like existing velcro ones but has a flap with a magnet or maybe even a small circle of velcro on the side. It still holds the cover on tight but is much easier to take on and off.

 

When he's completed make sure we see his designs!

Make sure that the new covers protect the heel of the putter. Most covers will open a bit at the heel from time to time, allowing it to be damaged.

Excellent idea. I have the same problem with the heel of my putter being exposed.

Something for a center shafted mallet..Cameron Red X2 or TM Rosa Monza Corza.

One of the best new designs i have seen recently def has to go with the m-series headcovers from Seemore...love um.

It would be cool if they had a cool original design, unique colors, and magnets, but velcro in the corners so the putter would stay in.

Why not try something classy? You know... fine materials, fine craftsmanship? If you're going to drop a few hundred on a precious, precision-milled piece of steel, the cover should at least look the part.

 

I don't drive a pimped out neon green Civic with black light and 21" wheels, and I don't want stuff in my bag that looks like that either.
