No, but if I was fortunate enough to play professional golf for a living, and good enough to play in a US Open, I would simply be grateful to be there. And, every time I got a bad bounce, I would think: you could be sitting in a cubicle right now with a real *sshole for a boss.

It seems that we are only going to get to watch four players today. I've been trying to keep an open mind about the Fox coverage, but God dammit, there is an entire field of players and this coverage is way too limited.

[/quote]Your right. They show a lot of shots but there is no build up at all. That's whats missing. Johnny Miller and Roger M. building up a shot to put some level of importance on it. Fox does show more shots but the occasional build up is nice. I like all the pro tracer stuff.

Was listening to the PGA tour radio broadcast on Sirius to and from the golf course tonight. It's shocking how a few guys who know golf and are actually on the course can produce something on radio that 12 or so guys can't even touch on a billion dollar TV network.

The golf coverage is awful. The back ground noise is annoying, along with with Holly Sounders interviews! The back ground music when breaking for a commercials leaves a lot to be desired! I hope the coverage will improve.

I'm not sure how much control she really has over her questions. Wouldn't surprise me to discover that Fox drew up a list of questions she had to stick to.

I think the fact that there have been more shots of the Good Year blimp flying around than shots of the action from the blimp (zero since I've been watching as they only show the occasional super-wide establishing shot) sums up this broadcast. But their excessive use of Protracer is commendable.

The repeated "Justin Johnsons" by their rules guy was amusing.

I can't follow this. All the holes look the same. There is no flow, I keep thinking THE SPRINKLER HEADS are holes. Approach shots land and I have no idea where they are, the ball tracker off the tee looks like the ball is going in the bunkers, etc… Why the heck to they only keep the top couple players on the scoreboard. Someone at +1 could win this thing.
