Mizuno is typically the first release for the next season. Includes 4 iron sets and 3 are forged each and every year. Don't know how they do it.

I am hesitant of anything that shows up on ebay or other sources before it has been announced by the company (I haven't seen or heard anything yet at least). They look interesting with all that relief and that big muscle back.

The punching on the hosel would lead me to call fake, but you never know. On the MP-4 they stamped "grain forged" not "GF" and a metal type. Also, the serial number is missing which seems to be a final nail in the coffin for me. I'm going to go with fake for now. If someone on here bought them, they can let us know what happens when they try to register them with Mizuno.

the seller looks like he has some pretty high end JDM heads for sale in his other listings as well as his history. I am thinking legit.

The heads look good. They look very sexy. Crazy looking shape above the muscle. There is enough curve there that Mizuno could stamp the MP-5 on the muscle/toe...

I remember distinctly that fake MP-53s hit Ebay a few weeks before the real deal was revealed. The fakes turned out to resemble the real ones to a T. We are also a few weeks away from the British Open, which in the past couple of years was used as the week that Mizuno reveals their new clubs for the next model year.

I have no idea what Mizuno will reveal this summer, if anything. But given the above two facts, it's reasonable to conclude that where there's smoke there's fire.....regardless of whether these are fake MP-5s or not.

I posted a thread in deal or no deal about a year ago about fake MP-64s at a Golfsmith near me. They were awful. Not even close.

[/quote]The current line up which include the mp-t5 wedge jpx 850 forged and mp-15's all say GF Forged on the hosel.

I'd say real. The 1025E stamping is a new addition to their line and I doubt a fake would have that.
