Well at least they're part of a collection/theme. I also think that mid mallet on the left could possibly be converted to LH if the head shape is symmetrical.

Yeah, it is an older Byron handmade that is very similar to a Dakine head. It could easily have the shaft insert plugged and converted to lefty. The other is an old John Byron milled Dale Head 10.5. Very cool mini from back in the day. I’ll try to get a few photos of some of the ones that matter in a bit ?.

At one point I think I had three. After I stopped using that style I gradually sold them off. I'm getting a Brandon Matthew #1, which is a 009 style head.

Yeah i had an 8802 style for a bit and it was nice but way too light, not sure if I'd ever drop the money on a modern heavy one with so many other options out there.

And Brandon's putters are nice, simple but the man can stamp and finish a putter really well.

So here are a couple to get things started. First one is my current gamer, John Byron Mid-Broom. I have converted it into an armlock style putter at around 37 1/2” and the head weight is ~400g. Fun fact on this putter is that it is made from German Stainless Steel not because of the better quality of the steel but because it was cheaper to import back in the day.

Up next is my Byron DaKine mini. It is American Stainless Steel in a matte blue oil finish. Weight without the lead tape is 340g but added the lead tape because I wanted to set it up similar to my Evnroll ER2. The gravity grip added made it extremely light feeling and the ER2 is a 370g head. I’ll add my other DaKine next just to show how much handwork Byron does on these from one head to the next.

Okay, here is my other DaKine done as a heel shafted mallet. It was an anniversary gift from my wife nine years ago. It is a carbon head with a high polish blue oil finish. It developed a few spots on the finish from a bit of fertilizer on the greens. It amazes me how this putter and the mini in my last post started as the same head yet finished they are completely different.

I’ll throw a TP Mills in since I was taking pics for another thread. Handmade One with pocket. Very rare putter. Love the black ox finish. High polish everywhere but matte on top line. Just love handmades where you can still see the individual cuts into the metal.

Breathe a little life back into this thread.

I'm sure some have seen this one posted. ManKrafted MA/66 LN, love the MA/66 head but the LN I'm having some issues with since I push the ball more than usual. I may keep it, may move it, who knows but enjoy the pics for now.

Since the photos I've stripped the pain since it was pretty dull and new paint would make it pop again, haven't decided on paint just yet.

Picking up another MannKrafted today, hopefully can get pics this weekend.

Everytime I see an Atlanta i question why i sold mine and can't find an answer. I guess i went head deep into the blade options.

I think 360g, it's on the heavier side which I like personally.

I like a good long neck as well but not always the best thing for me to putt with.

I've never gamed anything that light, I did have a 345g DH89 putter, I do have a Circa 62 #2 that I need to bring on the course one day, it's 330g I think.

I have had on old Pingdale head for a LONG time and always seems to migrate back to it no matter what I would buy to replace it. Come to find out I have significantly better speed control with the lighter stuff. Oh well ?

Putting is all feel so whatever works best, there are some days where a heavy putter just doesn't feel too good in my hands and other days it's awesome. Putting is weird lol.

I just put a 50g counter weight in my 330g Newport, so that should be a fun experiement

I thought I'd add my own to this as I fancied making a putter. It's going to be an aluminium main body with 304SS insert and I'll be able to add weights to the back of the insert. The initial idea was to be able to make different inserts from different materials, have different face milling to try and find a good weight/feel for myself.

The insert will be screwed to the main body from the front. Double bend shaft and grip to suit what the pro at my course recommends. He's looking forward to putting it together for me..

I'm not sure it would class as 'putter p?rn' and I've no idea if it will work but I'm enjoying the process:
