Titleist 905T 8.5 degree with UST Axiv Green stiff shaft. Why, because I like the 400cc head and the shape. I can flat out hit this driver and depend on the performance. I can work the ball both ways and control trajectory better than newer drivers but still get distance.

Driver:  TaylorMade 300 Mini 11.5° (10.2°), Fujikura Ventus Blue 5S Velocore

3W:  TaylorMade M4 15°, Graphite Design Tour AD DI 7S

Hybrid:  TaylorMade Sim2 2 Iron Hybrid 17°, Mitsubishi Tensai AV Raw Blue 80 stiff

Irons:  Mizuno Pro 223 4-PW, Nippon Modus3 Tour 120 stiff

GW / SW: Mizuno T-22, 52° (bent to 50°)/ 56° (bent to 54°), True Temper S400

LW:  Scratch Golf 1018 forged 58° DS, Nippon Modus3 Tour 120 stiff

Precept J40 445 (44") with Grafalloy BiMatrx Tour Prototype stiff - won my battle of the woods on the range today and the first driver that I control the ball with. It only wants to go long and straight. I have to put a really bad swing on it to slice and even then I would likely still find the ball.

I just want to see what WRXer are gaming these days and the reason behind it.

I'm currently hitting 9.5 razr fit extreme.
I tried bunch of drivers this season and I don't really see much improvement from my current gamer.

I'm tempted to switch over to 9 Deg XR Driver soon though.

Callaway Big Bertha Alpha 815 with PX LZ 6.0. Pulled the trigger on one when had two REALLY bad rounds with SLDR and got tired of not having something forgiving in my bag.

So far so good. 4 rounds with it and I am seeing more distance and accuracy than SLDR already. And this is really inspiring some serious confidence. I have to admit it's really nice to pull the driver pretty much knowing it's going to end up exactly where I intended.

Prices have already dropped and are about to again since new models are coming out.

Current project is a Bang Golf Bang-O-Matic 10.5* with a HOF Platinum XX-Stiff. No doubt the best driver shaft I've ever played. The head is awesome when it's hit on the screws, but lacks pop on anything off center. I'm trying to get back into Long Drive so trying to get used to the head. Waiting on Steve Almo to release the Grid Reaper. Hopefully sooner rather than later.

Also have an R9 Superdeep that is my "old faithful". I typically go back to this club when something isn't working. It's more forgiving that the long drive brands, but I try to stay away from it since I won't use it in competition.

Cobra Fly-Z.

Why?
1. my local Golfsmith had a Demo Day and this was the club I hit best.
2. my home course isn't especially long but is very tight. I can adjust the loft on this driver to 12* which gives me more control to keep it in play.

I upgraded to a Diamana D+ shaft which I prefer greatly over the stock Matrix VLCT shaft.

Cobra Fly Z+ w/ Matrix VLCT ST.

It was the longest and best of my fitting.

Since then I've struggled with loving the shaft, but it flat out works. Been messing around with a Fuji Pro 63 TS and it definitely feel better with more kick but brings spin back up. Looking like I'm stuck with the VLCT ST.

As stated in the sig, Razr FIT Extreme, 8.5 degree with the Matrix Black Tie 7M3 in Stiff. That driver beat the R1 TP by about 5 yards on average and another 10 over my previous driver (Mizuno T-Zoid Titanium Forged, 9 degree with an Aldila NV 65-X). I look every year and test out all the drivers vs what I have, and once something beats it consistently (distance, direction, and spin), that driver has a strong shot of taking over the spot. I figure the RFE will be in the bag for quite a while at this point.

This is one of my favorite drivers of all time. Perfect shape. Great sound.

The 905 series represented the last great Titleist drivers, IMO.

I use a Titleist 913D2 8.5* with a motore speeder 757 shaft. I like titleist in general but the reason why I use my current driver is based off of the shaft. I won it here on golfwrx while I was still using a 910 D2. Since I liked the shaft so much and I wanted to experiment with a lower-lofted driver head, I bought the 913 here on the BST. There was no chance I was going to get another driver that wouldn't allow me to use the speeder.

If you don't want to switch, don't hit the DBD. I sitched from RFE driver/fairway to DBD and 815 Alpha. It like RFE's on steroids, and realistically think they are more forgiving also. Plus the new adapter and more adjusibility.

Hit it quite a few times including with Callaway reps present. It spins MORE for me and comes up about 10 yards shorter in carry distance for a total of about 15 shorter overall. The only way to make it work for me would be to take the stock shaft and tip it about 1-2 inches (forget what the rep had for tipping at this point) or find a shop with the Black Tie in the cart and hit it. Haven't found that option in a store yet... rather odd given it is a stock shaft option.

My ability is maxed out with the i25/ahina combo.

I can't imagine a better mix of length, control, and feel.

Nor can I realistically optimize my numbers any closer.
