Just ordered a 430 with a 757 head. It's a bummer you can't get the diamana but oh well. My local had the tm1-114 shaft but it didn't sound particularly interesting. I have wanted to pick up a 430 for a long time so it's nice to find a new head for cheap with a legit shaft.

Also: you can have these special ordered if you want something and they don't have it. I ordered the 430/757, but you can also get it with the 661 and the stock jdm Mitsubishi co-engineered shaft. The 460 can also be ordered too I believe.

Put the GoGo in my 10.5 sldr head today (adjusted down to 10) and it was an absolute beast. Will be going straight in the bag over a g30 LS that isn't working too well for me.

Thanks TM, now you have completely devalued my GoGo I had in my LS that i was going to list on here. It is a good shaft. Had it in my SLDR 460 last season and hit some bombs. Just didn't work as well in the Ping for some reason.
Besides "460" not having any paint fill, is there any differences between the US and JDM models?

So I cancelled my order and picked one up in store instead. I may go back next week and pick up the 460 with the updated whiteboard and see how it feels in comparison. For the price, it's a pretty damn good deal and you can make some of the money back selling the head.

Guy at dicks is telling me a player bought one and played in USGA event and driver tested Non-conforming. .86 core. I'm wondering if that's the case for all of these?

Also wondering if the JDM heads actually measure at the snickered spec as my retail heads were sometimes 1.5* off stated loft.

Don't think the usga has used cor for quite some time. It's CT now. These are listed as conforming by the usga.

Was in my local DSG today and was really confused about the merchandise they had out in the golf section

They had a whole rack of brand new Titleist 910 D2s... Also saw new Ping S57s and Titleist CB 712s... This was all mixed in with new gear as well

Yes - they're part of the PGA Network. Your traded clubs will probably end up at 3balls.com

I just picked up a 430TP 10* with the Speeder 757 stiff I could not resist at this price. at lowest loft setting I was getting 152 ball speed 15*5 launch and 1600 spin. This is real close to the perfect 17/1700 number. We will see how it compares to my 430TP 9* non JDM with Speeder Tour Spec 7.3. So far it looks promising. They had about 5 of the JDM drivers in total at the store.

You should try bumping the loft up a notch or two. At 15.5* you need more like 1800-1900 rpm of spin to keep the ball in the air.

Just got back from a range session. It was very good. I was hitting it really straight. I think the flatter lie of the jdm version takes away the hook factor. This driver does not hook as easily. Out of the whole bucket of 50 or so balls I only hit 3 bad shots. I am playing tomorrow and wanted to make sure I was completely dialed in. Compared to my other 430tp I was hitting it higher because of the loft and shaft but it was much straighter. It also has a nice muted sound almost like it has some hot melt. I will report back after my round tomorrow but for right now it's in the bag and the non jdm is on the bench.

Same as above, the jdm tp 430 and speeder. I also used a $20 off $100 coupon so it was pretty hard to pass up. I am not sure if I want to put it on eBay new with plastic or use it and see if I like it enough to put in my "office" bag I am trying to make so I can sneak mid day weekday golf with no one knowing.........muhahahahaha.

I checked auction Japan and ebay and the dicks deal with the $20 off was like stupid, stupid freaking cheap for this thing. I wish that my dicks had the gogo, but whatever. I am tempted to hit the range with it...

I had a range session with the SLDR 460 Attas 5 GOGO last week. I absolutely could not make contact with this combo. So over the weekend, I put the Attas 5 GOGO in my R1 and much better albeit really high launch.

I think I am going to call it quits with the SLDR, just didn't work for me. Next step, I plan to install the Attas 5 GOGO into my Ping G30 LS to put it up against the Rogue Silver 70s.

One thing I noticed though was how flexy the Attas 5 GOGO is compared to the Rogue Silver. I almost feel like I have an easier time loading the Attas 5 GOGO. The Rogue Silver now seems a bit "boardy" harder to load.

I have only seen Stiff flex I looked for an X Flex also. But so far the 757 in stiff is pretty good. I have a swing speed between 104-108 with a agressive transition and late release which usually puts me into an X flex.

You may well love the Japan SLDR, but that's no reason to piss on the R15. I happen to like mine a great deal - much more so than the regular SLDR or any of the new Titleist offerings. It may not be your cup of tea, but it is certainly NOT a POS.

In Japan most clubs come stock with only R and S flex options, the SLDR was the same.

If the TM1 shaft is in a 460 head I wouldn't bother. There's no difference between the US/JDM 460 heads and the TM1 shaft is nothing special. Maybe your Dick's could get a SLDR with the Speeder you're looking for from another store?
