Not really the covert 2.0 line and previous Vapor line didn't drop nearly this early. Infact the old black Vapors are still more than the blue fly's!

Guess Vapor line does better since.. Well, it's black color? But since 2014, this series of Nike product got reduced fast. I'm sure they took a big hit in the Drivers,FWY and hybrid department.

 

Not many like the vapor fly blue. I bought some since they're super cheap. I am already used to the driver. Guess next series of line is black, which makes sense.

Heh, RBG gives you 156.25 in store credit for the Nike Vapor Fly Pro right now. Too bad they aren't running a 25-50% trade in bonus on top of that, could trade a couple in and get a bunch of store credit then turn around and buy them on there when they drop the prices. Too much work for me, but someone might try it.

 

Also, RBG has a price match guarantee, they haven't dropped their prices yet and if it's over 250 bucks they give you an additional $40 gift card along with the price adjustment.

This drastic of a price drop is smart. If they aren't selling, the price drop will get many people to buy them that otherwise wouldn't have even tried them. A lot of those people probably weren't Nike people before so it's basically a marketing expense. 4 of my friends just bought them that weren't in Nike drivers before

Does anyone know what the new line is going to be? i am assuming they will go all black, but keep vapor fly design, what do you all think? Wish the would drop the price of the nike vapor blue staff bag, I would be ALL over that. I can always dream...

Do you still have the receipt for your 5 wood? If so, maybe you can get a new one at the discounted price, and then return the new one with your old receipt to get back what you originally paid.

Before I left for deployment a couple months ago Nike had a demo day at my home course and I ordered the 3w with the Diamana shaft because they didn't have one to sell, it was $230ish I think then. It's waiting for me in the club house when I get back so I hope they price match the new price drop ?

I currently game the vapor pro driver. Thinking about upgrading to the vapor fly pro driver but definitely getting a 3 wood. Anyone played both the vapor pro and vapor fly pro drivers? Any noticeable differences?

That's because at these blowout prices they're buying them too. Give it a few days/weeks then the BST will be overridden with blue clubs and the "couldn't beat my gamer so it's the suck, and the blue gave me headaches" comments will flow.

 

It's amazing how a price drop changes people's opinions even temporarily. "Shoot for a buck fifty I'll try that smurf club out." "But at $350+ they're gargamel" and every time I release the smurf someone will naturally go "oh I tried those blue clubs when they were cheap, can't believe you hit it like that because for me and all my buddies it was garbage" Purist either already have them or probably most are like myself and was just waiting for the end of year drop to replace our 2015 vapor gear. I loved the blue but seeing as I bought all the 2015 line earlier this year it made no sense to upgrade at retail.

 

Now that the prices dropped significantly and trade value on the 2015 stuff is still high it costs nothing to "upgrade". Simply putting the new shafts in old heads and off to trade. Too bad the 2016 fwys don't take the same adapters as the 2015's because I'd have them too.

I had considerably higher ball speed and thus more distance with the pro. I have a high swing speed (108mph average) and ball speed was above 160mph

I read someone's post erieronnthe vapor fly 2h not feeling like a true 17* club. Anyone else with the 2h, what's your opinion on it. I have a 3w and 5w but may drop the 5w for a 2h. How does it fit distance wise for you?

Yep! thats why I custom ordered one from NDC. Got the WHB 80X I wanted and the head for free basically. The head will get replaced sometime down the line once the 2017 stuff is out for a while. But the shaft will get added to the stable.

I've gamed all 3 of Fly drivers this year and still like my Vapor pro better! I'd wait for the 2017's to come out!

I know there's been a lot of dislike towards the tensei shaft in here, but I gotta say, it's a sweet shaft. It's way better than I expected for a stock shaft. I know my fellow wrx'ers, just like I am, dig "our shafts" but I think a lot of folks who got in on this huge Nike sale will also be pleasantly surprised by the tensei if they give it a chance.
