Just my opinion but I think that person had no reason to start it. It might end up being inevitable, but start it when you have some information about a product that is a starting point to discuss. What the person did is use a post to start a rumor that they provided no basis of validity. I know that in some circles, there is nothing wrong with that and is SOP in some industries and in entertainment, but still does not make it right.

I'd guess it has less to do with the weight changing stuff than it does with the expectaions for new TM and Cally product. If you want a TM or Ping there's nothing new to consider for at least 6 months.

If you're interested in TM or Callaway, you're going to hold off to at least try the new stuff.

There are plenty of interesting details about all of the what might be coming on the Taylormade 2016 Equipment thread. One person on this thread did supply some information about future products. Also if you look at the first page. Most all of the posts that followed the original post were various comments (nothing positive) about how pointless the OP post was. I just was the first to call the OP out. And most of everything else has not provided any information to further the thread.

What do you mean not gimmicky?

The g30 is adjustable and has "turbulators" which do nothing. AeroBurner has half the drag of G30.

Titleist is adjusts me and uses the same technogy that TM and others have used for years...

If anything they are just as gimmicky as anything else and unoriginal in doing so...

From what is being said, the R16 is a code name or something. Most have said it is more likely to be M1 or M something.

Wonder if they're going with the same naming for the balls to gain some consistency and brand awareness or if they're going to keep changing like in the past.

Loved the Lethal and the TP/TPx, but they just haven't stayed with the naming so I'm never sure if the new ball is similar to the last. Makes things confusing.
