I use to when I was in high school. It's hard with a full bag. Here are some suggestions.

1. Only take 3 clubs you're working on that day, tie them from base of handle bar to the bottom side of seat, allowing heads to come over the top of the back tire at least 3 inches. Use head covers!!
2. Use a par 3, light collapsible golf bag, tighten the strap as much as possible to fit acrosss your shoulder like a seat belt. Add extra hole to the strap if you have to, so it's snug as possible. Put clubs in upside down (I found this better so they wouldn't fall out or shift). This was my preferred method but still hard to carry all my clubs, I would do about 8.
3. I did this when I needed my whole bag because I was going to the course to actually play. Create a wood or metal extension and attach to post of seat and to your pushcart bag. Let the push cart follow behind you but go at a slower pace than normal. Be careful on turns and hills and it should be fine. Use rain cover and padding around heads (that rattle gets so annoying)!

I never did these suggestions but I think they're worth looking into.
4.use a travel hardcase with the heavy duty wheels and use in same fashion as suggestion 3.
5. Radio Flyer Wagon behind bike? Idk this is my least favorite.
6. My favorite: use one of those doggy/baby things you attached to the back of the bike. Seems perfect size.

I bike to the course almost everyday...just but you're bag on like you're walking and then get on the bike...it's actually pretty easy

I've done it that way, too, but I also throw the rain cover on the top. Made me feel it was more secure and things shift around less.

I have done this numerous times. The first few times I used velcro straps and strapped the 2 irons and 2 wedges to the top tube of the bike. It was by far the most secure, but didnt like the idea of the shafts rubbing on the top tube of the bike effectively damaging both clubs and bike.

I tried the walking stand bag, and it does work, is cheap (assuming you have a stand bag) and effective. Never felt secure enough even with the flimsy rain cover while bouncing over potholes so that was also short lived.

I then saw another person in Chicago with a K-Cliffs driving range bag, that was slung over the shoulder like a messenger bag. I bought one, and it has by far been the most successful. Very secure, clubs fully covered, and no fear of losing anything when bouncing over potholes.

Glad to hear I'm not the only one considering a bike ride to the course. I like the idea of putting the rain cover on. Course is about 1.5 miles from me, so the perfect way to get some extra cardio in before and after the round. Thanks!

You guys just wear the golf shoes for the ride, or wear your riding shoes and carry your golf shoes (somehow)?

Lots of very good suggestions here, I have nothing of substance to add other than this:

Slow clap.

Well done.
