Cameron Futura - Tour AD DI 6 SR (Stiff Regular) w/PING tip, Prolaunch Blue w/ Ping G25 tip, Big Ber

Recommended Posts

Scotty Cameron Futura with headcover.

This is a used, but very nice condition Futura. This is not a belly putter that was cut down. It was originally 35" and I had it cut down to play at exactly 34 1/4"

The milling on the face is still easy to see- this is a very clean head and the shaft band is intact and in good shape too. I put an oversize (think superstroke) Winn grip on this.

I've owned many of these Futura's and it's time to let this one go. The headcover is included, the velcro works well and the cover is in nice condition too.

GRAPHITE DESIGN TOUR AD DI 6 SR PING G25 / i25/ Anser tip AD DI-6 Stiff Regular

Japanese made ( think they’re all Japan made now) Tour AD DI 6 SR (Stiff Regular) with PING G25 tip/adapter.

Bought brand new- Had a G25 adapter installed.

NOT TIP TRIMMED

BUTT TRIMMED ONLY to play at exactly 45 1/8" in a G25 I25 or Anser driver head.

Flawless- I tried it out in my search to find the ultimate shaft for my G25 driver. I'm older so I can spend a little time and some extra bucks trying to improve my accuracy and distance. I need a slight softer shaft for my swing. This is a strange and wonderful shaft- I’ve tried them when I was younger and stronger, and playing more, but this is just a little stiff for me. I don’t know why, but I got considerably more distance with this shaft on a few shots- no idea why. Nonetheless, it’s just too stiff and so from a comfort and consistency standpoint this was slightly stout for me.

This has a Tacki Mac Tour Velvet standard size new grip on it with one wrap of grip tape. Don't laugh at the grip, you can see from the shaft that I'm not afraid of spending some money on my setup. I actually like the TM TV grip line.

$235 shipped CONUS, fully insured.

Grafalloy Prolaunch Blue Regular PING G25 / I25 / Anser TIP - Pro Launch Blue 65

I actually tried a big variety of shafts- regular, stiff and even extra stiff to find an awesome setup for me.

I bought this new with an installed PING G25 tip. I hit 20 balls while comparing against 6 other shafts. I do like the PL Blue, but this just didn’t work for me.

Like New- Hit 20 balls with it. The PL Blue is a really solid, cheap everyman's shaft (imho)- personally think this would work well for someone with mid to high 80's/low 90's ss with a smooth/gradual transition- just my 02

Untipped

Butt trimmed to play precisely 45" in a PING G25, I25, Anser. I double checked the length with a G25 head on it and my golfsmith measuring device. It is exactly 45".

Callaway Big Bertha 5 iron with Grafalloy Prologic stiff flex shaft.

Fun Experiement Cllub—Hybrid replacement – Game Improvement

Fun little test but just not for me.

Adams Hyrbid Head- 22* Pro A12 right hand head- .370

This would actually be kind of a neat restore project--- I would strip it or sand the black crown clean--- Right now the face looks just fine and the sole does too, but that crown is one ugly betty. Tons of paint chip/ paint loss on crown-- it's a beater that still plays solid and great- forgiving and workable.

$15 measly bucks-- shipping included---

Take the Vokey head and the Adams head for $35 shipped

RIP PHENOM 50 Regular Flex DRIVER RIP 50 5.0 Torque PING

Like new Aldila RIP Phenom Regular, 50 gram, 5.0 torque driver shaft-- PING G25 / i25 / Anser ..Plays 45 3/8" when installed- grip is like new too. I was surprised by this one- lively tip, great kick at the bottom of the swing.

Excellent, mint condition all the way around!

$SOLD shipped CONUS.

UST MAMIYA VTS 6S TOUR SPX RED 6S Tour SPX VTS Red Driver Shaft
This is a Tour Issue golf shaft from UST Mamiya.
Brand new grip from Tacki Mac--- tour velvet.
I had this in a PING G25 driver- with tip installed it played at 44 7/8”. Without the adapter it is 43 1/2". Good condition shaft. If you put a G25 adapter on it, you will see plenty of epoxy remnant above the adapter- Didn’t bother me. I bought it that way, tried it, and then pulled the adapter, because I found a great shaft for the G25 I’m playing. Nice smooth, stable shaft especially for slower swing speeds or guys with an easy transition.

Titleist Vokey Red Saw 58.10 Wedge Head
Ohhhh- How I loved the red saws, especially the rusty ones. This shows rust, but the grooves are, I think as clean and sharp as you’ll find- that’s my opinion of course, but as the photos show they’re excellent. Tremendous spin- perhaps Titleist’s best. THIS IS NOT A TOURNAMENT LEGAL—PRETTY sure these were made in 2009 give or take a year. I have long since moved on to the SM4 and 5’s.

Wow.. Great shafts.
Pro launch - high launch
Ad di - medium
RIP alpha and VPX - low

Would you categorize them like that?
Would like to know what you ended up with after testing all of these?

If you change your mind on trades shoot me a pm, I have a few shafts in regular flex you would like that are premium as well.

The shafts I tried were all across the board- low, mid, high launch- heavy, light, etc
Ping XStiff
Ping Tour Stiff
Ping Stiff
Ping Reg
UST VTS SPX Stiff
Prolaunch Blue Reg
AD DI 6 SR (Stiff Reg)
Fujikura Motore Speeder VC 5- Reg
Aldila Rip Phenom Reg

Here's why I recommend trying shafts- there is a variation among flexes- one company's stiff, might be a regular elsewhere- I also like to see- to see how they work- how they fly for me-- I don't have the time or luxury of going to a launch monitor- plus, to me, it's just fun to try them all out

The shaft / head I ended up with is a Ping G25 9.5 head with a Diamana Ahina 70 Stiff---- on paper this shouldn't work- I didn't get my longest drives with the Ahina, but I definitely have the most consistent straightest drives for me with this combo (for now). I had a lot of fun checking these out.
