What is the Most Underrated Equipment OEM?

So who is the current and past OEM with the most underrated product?

 

Im going out on a limb and I'm going to say Cleveland / Srixon Golf.

 

Always known for wedges, in the early / mid 2000's Cleveland was making amazing woods and irons. Their staff was all over leader boards every week as well. This stuff stands up against anything that came out during the time period and in some instances (hibore XL Tour) were masterpieces.

I dont think Tour Edge can be considered underrated... they never made good irons, the drivers are ok at best.... and everyone knows the fairways are good

Wilson Staff.
FG Tour V4s, 100s, M3s, C100s could easily go toe to toe with any other iron in their respective categories.
FG Tour wedges are phenomenal.

Heck, even the D200 woods are solid once you get the garbage stock shaft out of them.

Bridgestone. They get some lover bio reall, they go almost unnoticed for all their clubs by th General golfing public. Their balls are popular, but I bet most golfers don't even know they make clubs. Surprisingly solid offerings in divers, fairways, irons, and wedges.

Cobra or bridgestone both make some really good sticks and bridgestone make a good range of balls as well

Wilson has such a "K-Mart" cheap-o reputation in the mid-west still.

Apparently their soon to release "players" driver is supposed to be legit. Also their soon to release SGI irons with a flex face are supposed to be good, as well. I hope they can make a comeback sooner than later.

Wilson....FG Tour V series irons and wedges.......FG Tour balls are good as well. I've even got a Fybrid hybrid that is excellent.

I'll second that Tour Edge makes some good stuff....maybe not across the board. Fairway woods and hybrids are very good. I've got a TEE Proto V1.1 wedge that is a quality club as well.

I can't agree with this statement. Their CNC forged irons as well as their Xtreme forged CB's are outstanding irons.

Dang, and I've loved their hybrids a long long time. I've got a e8 driver on order (so, we'll see what I think about them), and the irons, I can't speak to as I've never seen one.

I'd say Nike better irons. Work phenomenally well and excellent feel. And they dont sell so mid-year u can find them at a big discount.

Cobra better irons seem to be the same but i havent actually tried them on the course.

Bridgestone for sure. They just make great looking clubs that perform.

After that, I'd say Wilson's stuff is underrated. Their quality is the equal of the major OEM's.
