Also visited Okanagan Golf Club in August and played both courses. Seems like the maintenance is dropping there.

Hole 16, highest tee box in BC. Drivable green from the whites. Pulled my tee shot and hit some cedar shingles on the condos lining the left side.

Yes for sure compared to Predator.

 

A lot of little things:

 

A lot of dry dead areas in the rough especially in the holes across the street.

 

Edging of the bunkers and consistency of the sand.

 

Some rough tee boxes.

 

Personal pet peeve ..... they do not paint the cups.

 

Of course Predator is $50 (Ridge) and $40 (Predator) more per round.

Honestly, I thought it was going to be a lot worse with the drought.

 

I played a couple courses in Washington that had mostly bare fairways for large patches, I was told they selectively watered the landing areas and the greens.

 

The heat and lack of rain has really hurt some of courses I've played this year, so maybe my expectations have been lowered. Everywhere has been really baked out.
