:cheesy: big D off the deck = MISTAKEOLA!

Arguably one of dumbest decisions since DJ at the chambers bay on the 72nd hole.
Well he said he was doing it all week...I guess he went to the well one too many times.

Well said. And great movie. :)

Yeah. Considering the circumstances, Grillo already in the bunker, then hit his next shot kinda fat. It really wasn't necessary.
Another interesting tidbit. This was Rors 100th start on Tour and he basically won around 11% of his starts. That's pretty good

Now that the dust has settled ... :)

Justin Thomas inches closer to his first TOUR victory. He missed the Grillo-Na play-off by a single stroke, finishing tied 3rd. Surprisingly, it's his first top 3 finish on the PGA TOUR.

Charl Schwartzel made a nice weekend move to finish on -12 and 6th place, just three strokes out of the play-off. He took a two-stroke penalty on the first hole for being out of position when the first tee announcements were made.

Patrick Rogers and Justin Rose also tied 6th, with Rose once again being slightly undone by some shaky putting under pressure.

Unfortunate final round fades included Brendan Steele (76), Graham DeLaet (77), Brooks Koepka (75), Jamie Lovemark (77) and Harold Varner III (79).

What did DJ do on the 72nd hole at Chambers that was dumb? He had a 12 foot putt for eagle.

I'll be the guy to bring up the skeleton in the closet. Some guy with the initials TW was going to play in this event. Many on here complain that if he plays too much attention is on him and the threads become about him. Here we are, three rounds in, and not even past the first page yet on the tournament thread with replies? It's a pretty decent field and a whole bunch of guys within a couple strokes going into round four. Flame away. Guess we need more needles. :)

Golf broadcast is on later in the day here in the east. Too many good NCAA games on, plus MLB playoffs going on.
This. You have MLB playoffs, NCAA football and NFL football all day Saturday and Sunday and then the NHL is fresh so people may be checking that out as well later in the day. It's just awful timing to compete against all of that on the weekend.

I have two 55"s next to each other. This tournament didn't make it on either of them until the back nine on Sunday....

Surprised by some of the posts here. Personally I'm just happy to have PGA coverage period. The Frys.com may not have been chock-full of needle movers, but there were some big names and some good drama and storylines throughout the week. Sounds like some fair-weather type fans in here. Every tournament can't be a home run.

Says something about sports when a field of non-needle movers is playing for a $1,080,000 winner's share.

Exactly how I feel about it, but then again I watched much of the Senior European Tour's French Riviera Masters this weekend, also. Some folks are acting like pro golf is only cool when the top ranked people are playing in the final group on Sunday.

Not at all. There is just much more interest for me in one of the 17 weeks of the NFL than 1 of 35 non-major PGA tournaments. I also went to the Lightning game Saturday night after playing golf during the day so I missed the entire coverage of Saturday. Just too much happening right now in sports. I think packing the schedule with more tournaments when there is more down time would be a lot more beneficial to the PGA Tour because I would consider myself someone who watches every tournament with betting on it and playing the daily fantasy.
