I'm happy with the clubs in my sig and don't anticipate any changes for next season...unless my fantasy football teams do well, haha! Really, I wouldn't change anything except maybe a 3w but even then it would need to be something special.
[/quote]

I actually was quite happy, and then I got a good deal on a Big Bertha 3w...and then I had the opportunity to buy a set of JDM MP-55s...and that M1 is so tempting.

Wedges, hybrids and putter are firm though!

Any and all of my clubs can be replaced any time with anything better, particularly wedges...

These have lasted through 2015:
Driver - Titleist 912 10.5*
Hybrids - TM Rescue Mids, light steel shafts
Irons - Ping S58, Nippon NS Pro 950GH
PW - Hogan Apex Edge E
52* - Callaway X-Tour
55* - TM 200
60* - MacGregor Grass n' Sand
Putter - KZG GF Mallet

I must be liking all the clubs in my bag because I haven't looked at anything new since replacing my irons earlier this year. Now if it would just stop raining so dang much and let the courses dry out some...

Ping G400 10.5* driver
Ping G400 3 wood
Ping G400 3 & 4 hybrids
Ping i25 5-PW AW SW LW irons
Ping Sydney 34" putter
Ping Pioneer 2017 bag

  • 4 weeks later...

I'm pretty happy with my setup as well.. I keep trying to find irons that I like better than my XTD Forged irons (I have MP-H4, MP-H5, and MP-64's in the wings..) but still find my way back to the XTD Forged. Driver and fairways, check.. spot on for me.. putter check, (I never change mine anyways), only change I might look at it MD3 wedges.. other than that.. happy happy.. (well as happy as one can be living near Buffalo NY in the winter...)

The 46*/pw is the only thing I see getting swapped out over the next 6 months.

910D2 w/ Phenom

RBZ Stg.2 Tour3 w/ RIP

TM Rescue '11 18* w/ mf RIP

Jetspeed 21* w/ stock Velox

850 Forged w/ NS Pro 1150GH (5i-9i)

SM4 46-08

SM5 52-12

CG15 58-12

YES! Pippi mid-tour counterbalanced

Only one club in six months I said. Two months later and a hybrid, 5 irons, and wedge are being swapped out. The Mizuno's were always clunky to my eyes coming from Hogan Apex's. The bargain I got on the Adam's XTD Forged irons didn't hurt though.

Ping driver
Taylormade fairways
Adams irons
Vokey and CG wedges
Yes! putter
W/S and Vice balls
Nike shoes

Almost.....got my old 3 wood back which was 2yr long nightmare to be honest....grass isn't greener, lol....bending my wedges bit tomorrow to just fine tweek the bounce....than off to course to play....we have nice weather( high 70's) this week so

As someone who tries a lot of equipment it's actually nice not to be "searching"....

Some fine tuning tweaks is all....

May run down to farmers tourney thurs....

The compromises I have to make at the top and bottom of my bag denies full satisfaction, but I am happy with the compromises I have gone with.

I need a high soft landing hybrid, so I hit a 5w instead of 4w and 7w. At the bottom I want to play a bladed 53 after my CB set matching 50 squeezed in between my 46pw and 58, but I dropped the 53 and bent to 50 to 52 to get to 14.

My quirk at the top end is that I play a 3.33 iron! An i25 3i bent 1 weak to 22, because I just need a long iron in my bag.

In summary I lack a really lofted fairway and bladey tight lie chipper GW/SW, but we cannot have it all!

PS: my high loft hybrid is 26 that replaces my 4i, so I go a weird 3.33i, 26H and 5i(27). Low hitter you see..

I'm pretty happy with my setup, The only thing I would consider, I would like some Taylormade or Ben Hogan irons. Not gonna shell out hundreds but if a good deal came along.

wtf.......completely opposite irons...how you come up with that?

LoL what do you mean? From Taylormade to Ben Hogan? Or from the Irons I currently play to TM or BH? Idk really I like how the Ben Hogans look, I wouldn't mind hitting a more bladed iron maybe down the road and as for Taylormade most of my bag is Taylormade already. I do really Like my Cobras, I bought them on a wim and got a very very good deal! "Pawn Shop" Cash is kind in those places. I was gaming some old Titleists DCI 990 liked them just needed something new.

here's my bag:

Callaway BB

Callaway XR Pro 16

Titleist 915hd, 20.5

Titleist 915h, 24

Nike Covert 2 Forged irons

SM5 56, 60 wedges

SC GoLo 3, 33"

Very happy with my clubs, but a Sun Mountain Four 5 bag is on it's way to me as we speak. With it is coming an X2 Hot Pro 19 FW. Gonna check to see if that, with my XR Pro 14 FW is a better combo that the 20.5 hybrid and the 16 agree FW. Even being "content", the other stuff is intriguing.

AP3, 5-48* - Steelfiber i95 r

That is certainly opposite ends of the spectrum....lol

I like to keep it interesting, try new different stuff. I have never had TM Irons nor BH but I hear good things about BH irons that it's intrigued me to want to find out for myself.

Thoroughly happy with my bag, as seen below in sig. Going to test out a DI6 versus my D+ 60, but everything is staying! Haven't been able to play a round with my irons yet but looking forward to changing that this weekend.

I was pretty happy with mine until I was told about a new putter. So now I am very content with my putter, irons, fairway woods, and most of my wedges. I still want another lob wedge with a different grind and a new driver. Overall, pretty content.

Driver: PING G410 LST, Ping Tour 65X

3 Wood: PING G400, Project x EvenFlow Blue 75 6.5

3 Hybrid: PING G410, Ping Tour 85 X

Irons: Mizuno MP-5 (4-PW), Dynamic Gold X100

Wedges: PING Glide (50SS, 54WS, 58ES), Dynamic Gold Tour Issue S400

Putter: Scotty Cameron Newport 2.5

Ball: Taylormade TP5 (Pix or Yellow)

I will be playing 10-11 clubs this year in a smaller bag and therefore will try a 4 wood and a single 56° wedge, but everything else stays put, as it has for the last year or two.

Srixon F45
Adams Super Hybrid 20° (Tour issue)
Mizuno Mp-15 4-pw

After being custom fit for my woods and irons I think I'm really close to being content. Here's my current bag:

Cobra King LTD w/Matrix Red Tie 60Q4 Stiff

Cobra King LTD 14.5* w/Matrix Red Tie 65Q4 Stiff

Callaway 815 Alpha Hybrid 18* w/Speeder 865 X-Stiff

Callaway 815 Alpha Hybrid 23* w/Speeder 865 X-Stiff

Ping i series e1 5-UW w/Nippon Pro Modus 105 Stiff

Mizuno MP-T5 54* and 58*

Scotty SB 33" w/SuperStroke 2.0

The only thing I'm contemplating is picking up a 58* Callaway PM wedge to test against my Mizuno 58* because I'm really intrigued with the large head full of grooves and how easy it seems like it would be to hit the PM wedge out of the sand.

Titleist TSR2 8.25* w/Mitsubishi Diamana GT 60S
Titleist TSR2 15* w/VA Composites Nemesys 75S
Taylormade Stealth 2 Hybrid 19* w/VA Composites Nemesys 90S
Callaway Rogue ST Pro 4-PW w/Project X LZ 6.5
Titleist SM9 Wedges 50*, 54*, 58* w/Project X LZ 6.0
Edel EAS 2.0 Putter
Vice Pro
