It boggles my mind how cheap and lacking Nike Golf shoes are designed compared to their other sports shoes.

Why are they wasting time converting running and basketball shoes into golf shoes. I get the style appeal to those classic designs, but give golfers something more that is designed for real play.

Call me crazy, but I would like to see golf specific design that will be useful to actually playing golf.

I'm a huge Nike fan and will continue to buy their shoes like the LC II. Just wish they'd focus more on performance based designs.

I'm pretty sure that is covered with at least the LC4 and TW shoes.

Plenty of people these days see that they need less tech in their shoes, look at pros like Finau and Rory wearing Force 1 or Chukkas.

Tried on the Lunar Fire's today at my local Golfsmith. Wanted to like them but they just didn't feel as good as the LC4s. Priced lower, which is nice, but to me, it's a cheaper shoe and kind of a retread. Passed on it for now but maybe will look again in 5-6 months on clearance/sale.

To my eye these look too much like some of the Scecher golf shoes Matt Kuchar wears, especially the white pair.

Like most here I think I'll stick with the LC4.

Quick question for you guys;

I wore the Lunar Swingtip shoes a couple seasons ago and absolutely loved them. The key things that I liked about them were

-How low to the ground they sat

-That both the heal and toe section were the same height off the ground (that there was no incline in how your foot say in terms of front to back)

-How thin the sole was

My question is, what shoe (if any) in the current lineup is the most similar to the Lunar Swingtip?

The closest pair is most likely going to be the lunar waverly

I like the shoe. My main gripe is the "sock" at the top of the shoe. Living in NC, I play in shorts 7 months a year and the shoe does not look good in shorts. I wonder if you can cut the sock out? ?

I don't wear shorts, unless extreme, so no worries for me there.

I have a solid amount of rounds in with both pars now, could not be happier. We even had the "green" stuff sprayed around the greens this morning, and a tooth brush, soap, and warm water cleaned it up nice off the white.

I've worn the FI Premiere 2 rounds now and gotta say they're super comfortable. Still not a fan of the sock liner idea but as far as comfort, these are great. The TW 15s are still my favorites but the FI premiere are worth a try.

I was not huge on it at first either, but I have bony ankles, and have issues sometimes in that area with shoes, they make it a perfect shoe for me.

Lunar Fires look pretty sweet on foot.

How's the fit and feel? Looks like the sole makes it like LC I versus the LC II.

Fits me true to size, like I get in every shoe, looks like the toe area is narrow but it is not. Pretty wide toe box when you try them on. Don't know if they make in wide.

Will hope to play soon in them and give feedback.

I think it's subjective. I actually prefer the look of my Premieres in shorts vs. pants. The "high top" part isn't really that high compared to others so it's a nice in between look.

I bought the white/gray pair but I'm on a constant lookout on a deal for the blacks now, these are probably the best shoes I've purchased in awhile. If only the sole on the black version was black instead of white, I would already have them :)

So you think the Waverly would be closer than the Lunar Force 1?

Just picked up. Fits me true to size.

meh, looking like the LC1's & Air Zoom elite. too blocky and plain, not worth dropping $40 let along $125 on them IMO.

Those may fit wonderfully and feel great, but they look terrible IMO. I'd never wear those, but i am sure there are those who think they are awesome and must own shoes.

Yep, me, have both colors, and have been asked about them several times already. I hope sales on them are terrible, just a quicker price drop so I can buy more.

Agreed! I want both color ways but can't pull the trigger on MSRP. Tried them on and this is the king free inspired NG shoe with vastly improved toe box flyweave construction! I think in order for the free inspired:

1)FI Premiere best fit and looking shoe with lots of advancements in the flyweave from the TW15

2)TW15 are comfy, just a little weird on the tounge with no show shocks and can rub you raw there...also if not wiped down after each round some dust builds up in the creases to cause staining

3)TW13 super comfy, indestructible, wipe, go, repeat...but int he black color way sooooo HOT and no breathability for those summer rounds

4)TW14 are last of all, wrinkle prone synthetic material (like the LC3), heavy compared to the 13 and 15 and sizing was strange like they were a 1/4 size longer than the 13

Anybody seen that Nike released the TW14 mesh in all black with gold accents at golfsmith? They never originally released this colorway before.

Those look sick
