UA Strikeskin Tour Glove

I had not seen anything about these so ordered 1 when I was grabbing a few hoodies for my kid. The glove came today, and i must say, I like it a lot. Obviously no idea how durable it is, but it fits and feels fantastic with a club in hand.

 

They are sold out of most sizes right now, wish i would have snagged a couple more.

 

I would hope for a restock soon.

It feels a touch slimmer/snugger in the fingers than FJ, so the cadet sizes may work better for some.

I'm a lefty...so looking at Right hand Medium Large, luckily have them in stock for me!

Jordan Spieth switched to this glove from the Titleist Player's glove. And I think a few other UA guys may have made the switch as well...possibly Gary Woodland.

I am slightly surprised that Under Armour has released these. We have been waiting for nearly two years for them to actually get their shoes to market so given that we first saw Jordan Spieth wearing this glove in May time, that's a pretty quick turnaround from UA!!

In all seriousness though, it seemed like right after JS won the Masters, UA must have realised that the only thing that Spieth was wearing that didn't have his the Under Armour logo on it was his glove. I wouldn't place much weight on players changing to it. It's a glove, if it's thin leather and fits then the guys on tour will wear whatever their sponsor wants them to.

That is how I feel. If it is a decent quality glove and fits I will wear it.

I played with the new UA glove for the first time today, not much to say but exceptional. If I am paying $20 a glove, will be for this one.

I am still not 100% sure on durability, but played 32 holes today, and nary a mark on the glove anywhere, not even dirty.

UA always seem to run out of their gloves on the website.

I lucked out, went back online this morning and they had 1 LSM in stock, so I grabbed it quick.

I am pretty sure this is my new glove.

They run smaller compared to footjoy. Usually wear a small footjoy, wear a medium UA

They do seem to run about a half size smaller. I may order a cadet in the UA and try it.

I just received my FJ pure touch and was reminded how a glove is supposed to fit.

As others have said, runs a little small. I wear an ML in every glove and the Strikeskin ML is snug.

I wear a ML in FJ and got these in a CML. These gloves are the 2nd best glove out there behind the FJ Pure Touch.

 

They seem pretty durable and just as soft as the Pure Touch. I like the Velcro part on the FJ better but there isn't much of a difference.

I agree here 100%, and also like the UA closure a little better. I did go back and try on both UA gloves I have (one has been used for 27 holes, other is new). They do seem to stretch just a bit so may not move to the Cadet in UA.

 

Regardless, 2 very nice gloves if you are willing to spend a few extra $$.

I stuck with my normal size and it is fine, only thing I might do is go with a Cadet possibly, but would not really recommend a full size up.

I have been using my original StrikeSkin at the sim, 7 hours in now, and no signs of wear. I am not normally hard on gloves.

I get all of my UA orders shipped free regardless of total, so don't mind trying out things, plus they do free returns now also.

 

It could be a slightly cheaper alternative, shall see next week.
