I think the demand for a face balanced blade is pretty low among the common man in the golf world. Sales are probably low so just not worth it for them to make them, it's like Lefty putters.

You are probably correct. That coupled with many of the PGA Pros using mallets these days, most of which are probably face balanced, demand must be low for the Anser style LN's.

Being a lefty it must be frustrating for you to look at so many right handed "eye candy" putters.

To some extent yeah, I can mostly get what I want in LH but there are a few head shapes I just cannot get and I don't have the money to make it happen either.

That Cleveland is beautiful!  Been keeping an eye out for one of those for a while.  Still no luck.

Very nice. If you've got a milled longneck that comes from a billet of metal, the typical billet is too small or you need to start with something bigger, which costs more. If you can accomplish the same effect of face balance from a smaller original size (like a slant neck or ever more so a double bend neck) then you save money. Combine that with mallets and their significantly higher MOI in the same face balanced configuration, and the giraffes have gone more the way of the dodos.

A true shame as a longneck fan and collector it makes them much harder to come by.

Same. wouldn't think they'd be hard to find.

The Cleveland TA Milled Series putters are very hard to find. I have had all four in the series.

I prefer the TA Milled 1, standard length plumbers neck over the Cameron Newport Classic or Newport AOP Oil Can because of their more durable Melanite finish, the feel of the 8620 carbon steel, the sight line and because they are about 5 grams heavier an the SC's.

If I knew that I would have grabbed the ones I did see but oh well. Keeps the passion going.

How much are you willing to spend on your passion? 😄

I have the same two Cleveland TA Milled putters and the same passion for them. Mine are the dark Gun Blues with stock shafts. I know Cleveland came out with two finishes, what did they call the finish on these putters?

I don't know what other finish they offered. When I bought these they were just plain raw I think. I had them refinished in soft black and I had to send these to Japan.

I know it's not technically a long neck, but I have an old Red X5 that has a longer neck than all my other Scotty's.  So a "Long-er Neck" putter, if you will

    • Sony Open Pics from January 11, 2022 Part 1
I was able to get out to the Sony Open today to take a few pics.  I guess due to Covid precautions they kept the spectators pretty far from the players.  Also due to camera restrictions they've put in place, I wasn't able to bring the big lens like I normally do. Hopefully they'll ease up on the ropes and I'll be able to get more pics tomorrow!
