I would recommend checking with putterlounge. They refinish all the time and would know what is possible.

Bought two of these in the bronze coloured finish direct from Ping. Both arrived with small chips in the putter head which exposed the silver coloured finish beneath. Sent both back. Ping did nothing for me despite the hassle of having them sent back. Have stayed clear of Ping since tbh.

They didn't offer to replace them to you? Random, Ping has almost been top notch to me in terms of customer service.

Does anyone know if the bronze Anser comes with tri sole or is it a custom option? The Anser 2 has it. Thanks

Yes, the bronze/gold TR 1966 Anser is a tri-sole.

Ok thanks. I thought only the Anser 2 had that and the bronze was smooth from the pictures I’ve seen. I thought maybe I had a custom one. Thanks

Ping has always been great to me. I would have thought it would have been a easy replacement. Any more to this story?

I picked one off eBay after this thread. Not even a huge Anser fan but this is easy to roll. The light head wasn’t as bad as I thought it would be. Feel and sound are very addictive. I will probably keep it and add to the collection.

I dunno. I sold my old one recently on OfferUp, but had a hell of a time pricing off ebay.

I have a unreleased TR 1966 B60 than I’m going to be selling soon. I guess I’ll just put it on eBay and see how high it goes. I have no idea how to price it.

when they were out they were some what hard to find at least, when you did find it they were "cheap" or people really wanted a premium for it.

 

I have one laying around i like it alot and I got it for $65. I wouldn't pay $80 for it
