How are the Kyoei KK MB play? Are those similar to BB or much easy to hit but no forgiving as BB

Sounds like a confessional lol. I vowed after getting mine "no more clubs", but snagged a PXG Operator putter today off a member. Think I meant no more irons, so i think I'm safe on this recent purchase. Done now hopefully, famous last words.

Geez, I've been avoiding this thread as I really didn't want to buy another JDM set but everything's sooo pretty.... (insert Homer Simpson gurgle here).

 

The Epon 302 is my dream iron set too but I told myself I wouldn't buy them until I could legitimately make them my gamers.

I wish I knew! Still waiting for that elusive "spring" thing to establish here. Bright note is that I'll be traveling to Florida for work in June in case it doesnt come by then.

It is JUST like that scene in Pulp Fiction where Vincent Vega opens up the briefcase and instead of it being Marsellus Wallace's soul, it reveals the Miura baby blades.. Jules asks Vincent "We good?" and Vincent replies "Oh we good!"

So I just finished this project. I have wanted these heads for some time now, and always too much or not right shafts for money or really just too much. So I score a set, and I mean score one. Sell the shafts and dump more money into them than I wanted to but I killed some “want” birds with this build. 1st, the onoff set. 2nd, the copper finish, and 3rd, I am going graphite in irons. It is time the tech is there. I got some roddio i10s to put into my BBs, but for this I went with the new Attas iron shafts. I really like the recoil 110s so infigured that the JDM Attas could only be better, time will fell as I can compare, but the 10s seem to want to go straighter or more tip stiff but not graphite dead stuff. The 9 is all I have hit and it feels really good.

 

The copper is in a very awkward stage now where patina is just beginning, but I am really loving this set. So far only hit 9 on sim as said, but liked the shafts, and head. I am happy with it, a limited set in a head finish and shaft combo that is likely only one on the planet like it. Anyway, this was a very cool custome build in an iron I have coveted for a long time.

going to regrip soon but havent decided what to get for the BB's. Thinking sonars or leather. Shafts are modus3 120s. Honestly, I picked up the kyoei late fall and havent even tried them yet. It's like early spring here atm in northern minnesota so I havent had the chance to get into the season yet. We got 12.5" of snow last week!

I went to a local plater that does high end restoration of fixtures for estates.

 

They really did a great job and my hunch to use a true restoration plater panned out. Here they are fresh

Speaking of jdm... I’m just now retiring the set of Epon af-tours I bought from you in 2011 :D
