Fantastic for you guys from Nike. Makes me feel better about buying my kid Nike for his soccer stuff. May have to get him a new Nike ball for the Select AUSA team he just made.

I haven't been a big fan since I wore out my black Terminator kicks in the 80's. that may have just changed.

Nike makes very quality products! Best athletic company in the world.

I bought a couple of Nike shirts largely because of Matt and this thread. See, sponsorship works!

Love it!!!

^Nice^

I always make an effort to buy Nike products when I can due to how amazed I am at how well they take care of their players. Its really amazing..

If it helps, it's not just their players. They go the extra mile and beyond for employees, could tell you a story about our sons kidney transplant that will seriously make you smile. An all around good company.

Thats amazing and I'm not one bit surprised.

Kind of surprised at scoring, last year the cut was -6. I expect it will be either -3 or maybe -4 tomorrow.

I would imagine that scoring is going to be dependent on course conditions, weather and hole locations. You never know, -2 may make the cut but if Matt keeps hitting GIR he'll have plenty of birdie looks and hopefully he can drop some putts.

Today was one of the best rounds I have played. Post first round I went to work on my driver since that was giving me some issues. I figured out a simple thing, I was setting up with the ball too far towards the heel so I was overspinning and slicing my drives. Its amazing what a little post round practice can do.

My 66 today could've been crazy low, it basically was the worst I would shoot. My ball striking was on point and I made a few putts over 10 feet. It was a good round to get me into contention going into the weekend. Two more rounds to go and two more opportunities to make birdies.

Matt quick question when you get the time . Are yardage markers on the course generally in yards or meters ?

Yards at all the courses I have played. Over in Europe I'm sure they are measured in meters.

Cool thanks I'm playing in the Staal Open qualifier , and was curious as to how courses were marked north of the border .

Restart for all at 8am, no regrouping for 4th, leader group plays 35 holes, Matthew has 30 1/2 to play. He said he got one shot off on the par 3 6th before it was called again and unfortunately said it wast he worst shot of the tournament and will be a very hard up and down.. Not the funnest way to start the round.

Matts got the second-lowest round of the day so far! 8 birdies so far. 5 holes left and 6 shots back.
