Going to attempt a sole swap for a pair of the jordan 1 low football cleats. Going to try and take the soles off a pair of the AM1 G and put them on these. Will the same size sole fit on these or will I need to get a half size larger or smaller to make it a clean look?

Quarantine makes us do crazy things. I'm in the process myself. I put an AJ1 TD upper on a Vapor Sole. Still waiting to glue it. Looks like the same size for these works. Not sure about the AM1g. I can try taking some rough measurements later today with the de-cleated AJ1 if you want.

 

The TD1 Lunarlon midsole is super soft. I was able to cut through it pretty easy. I almost ruined a pair of AJ1 MCS using the Acetone method. I wouldn't recommend it for the donor upper, but it worked ok for the donor sole. I still had some work to do with the dremel.

 

I'm gonna do a write up when I'm finished.

The retros they're releasing for golf are actually more on the uncomfortable side when it comes to hooping. They're just too bulky and on the heavier side in my opinion. Lowtop 11s + react midsole on the golf course is a dream. I can see where the 1s being hightop don't look so normal on the course.

As someone who was all about "rock em don't stock em," I don't see anything wrong with collecting Jordans either. Just like some people would question dropping thousands of dollars on a Scotty to collect.
