Man I ride that amount of time - I think they will be fine, they are comfortable, I just hate the huge front tongue for the look.

HV3's are so interesting. 35s with the Jordan 3 Golf sole, right? of course, Pat Perez has his 35s with the free outsole. I'm a long time lurker here, but wanted to share the PE I just had made via solehaunt. I wasn't interested in the 4s, so went ahead and had these done:

As someone who has always worn spikes (6'1 300 lbs) are there any other big boys in here that have gone spikeless and can attest to slippage with the ADG?

I like those soles, but that choice really changes the XI silhouette imo. The midsole of the XI is a big part of the shoe's look. Kinda reminds me of a lot of the Jordan Brand lookalike releases of the last 10 years.

At the end of the day Jordan brand does whatever they want to do, but I wouldn't keep your hopes up of that tongue ever changing on the 35s.

 

Just a brief history with the Jordan line.  Starting with the Jordan 31, Jordan brand made an effort to incorporate the original Jordans into the design.  Jordan 31 has design elements of the Jordan 1.  Jordan 32 has design elements of the Jordan 2. And so on.  So the tall tongue in the Jordan 35 comes directly from the Jordan 5.  

 

Personally, I think the tongue looks fine on the Jordan 35, but never been a fan of the tag on top of the tongue.  The tongue on the upcoming Jordan 35 low though looks really out of place.  The sides of the tongue are supposed to align with the height of the shoe.  I'm with you on these ones... they really need a tongue reduction.  I think I would prefer the Jordan 35 low over the high for a golf shoe... with a lower tongue.

Sorry I was speaking on the 4’s and more of just for the golf line of retros.

 

Believe me I know they would never change, grew wearing Jordan’s and played/play basketball my entire life. Wished they would upgrade like fb egg did the Kobe’s.....

Stop complaining about the tongue on the 4’s. It’s SUPPOSED to be that big. It’s like saying, “I like concords but could do without the black and white color scheme.”
 

And the 4’s look fantastic with shorts. They were a BASKETBALL shoe designed to look good with shorts.

Got my 4’s today. They fit the same as the 5’s size wise to me. I find them to be very comfortable. I paid too much but oh well. I think they look even better in person.

Are the ADG releases typically as limited as the regular Jordan releases? I can't judge based off of the ADG 2 because they were terrible.

Oh the days when I had about 30-50 pairs of Jordan's. Sold them all for dirt cheap. Only wear running shoes these days, few AF1's and a few Yeezy's.

As I get older, the J's are for my kids

 

New shoe addiction are Nike golf shoes lol
