Are y’all even sneaker heads outside of golf, 

“hope they don’t put the 5 sole on the 4s” like lol do you mean the Icey sole ? And 5s are one of the most comfortable shoes relative to the other jordan models. Lol they’re just big.  (Used to be a side sneaker head coming out of HS)

It's less about us not being sneaker heads and more about being inclusive for those that aren't.  Also the 5 soles just don't lend themselves to golf if you're a walker. XI's are way more comfortable for that.

I love the golf 5’s. I have every color released this year and backups of a few colors. I always ride, so walking comfort isn’t a big deal for me. I think the 5’s are one of the most comfortable golf shoes for riding, but I agree that they wouldn’t be great for walking because of the rigid sole and how roomy they are.

The 5s have been great for me and i walk exclusively.  I know mileage may vary but those shoes are extremely comfortable.

I'm the same way.  If I ride I wear the 5's if I walk I wear the XI's.  Can't go wrong either way though as both shoes are great.

Yeah I can understand that, I wear the Nike zoom victory pro golf shoes and the zoom units are very nice to walk/play in. But I know everyone’s feet are diff.

 

and I meant the actual shoe (non-golf) I use to have a couple big heat pairs. Still have a pair of fire red 5s. Lol

Can someone help explain the early access. I’ve heard of it on SNKRS but is it done on the Nike App also and is it just an invitation in your inbox?

 

Ive bought so many shoes from Nike just surprised I’ve never been given early access specially for Golf Shoes since it seems like a lot of people on here end up getting it. Only thing that is ever in my NIKE app inbox is like “new this week items” ect.

In the nike app, if you get early access you will get a message in the app inbox that allows you to go to product page and try to buy it. It is not guaranteed that any stock will be available. The timing is somewhat random, but seems to be 2 days prior to release and in the morning.

And if you have notifications enabled, it pushes to your phone. 

I wonder if there’s still two different types of reserves? 
 

I have received the early access reserves. Haven’t seen the reserved for you in a long time.

I've got the sneakerhead part covered but the Jordan golf shoes just can't compete with others in terms of comfort for walking.  For sneakerheads the looks can't be beat but I walk probably 75 rounds/year and there is definitely a difference walking in something like the CodeChaos or ZIT vs. the 11's or 5's.  The original ADG's are pretty good for walking, though.
