Finally grabbed a pair of XI's off e bay. Can be a very expensive exercise when you are size 12.

I bought a pair of Concord Grey XI's in size 13 a year ago from StockX and never ended up wearing them, as I didn't want to get them dirty since I spent so much on them (at the time).  They were still NIB so I took a look at StockX a few weeks ago and sold them to the current high bid for $200 more than I paid.  I've never flipped anything like that in my life.  I loved the look of the shoes, but I couldn't bring myself to wear them knowing how much they were worth. Going forward, I'll stick to sub-$200 golf shoes that I won't worry about wearing outside.  😀

I have the Jordan 3 white cements from a few years ago - got lucky from Worldwide Golf paying retail.

I must say that now that the XIs are a golf shoe, I rarely wear those 3s...I find they’re too high top for the course and while comfortable, feel a bit clunky. Although I am a 13...

I imagine the 4s will be similar...I’ll certainly try to buy them for retail - but think they look better in concept. We shall see

As with most of the Jordan retro golf shoes. They are only good for putting/chipping or collecting/flipping.

That’s fair.

I guess bottom line is the 11s are the perfect golf shoe in my mind for a sneakerhead...

IMO the 11s work. I have 5s and they’re kinda just meh. The 9, 13, 3 and 1s all look weird as golf shoes. 🤷🏻‍♂️

the 4s are just so tempting, but I’m ready to be disappointed.

I like the 5’s as a golf shoe only played 1 round in them but I found them really comfortable and functional. I cut my teeth on the ADG’s and now I’m hooked on my 5’s. Got the wolf greys on the way.

11s are by far the best. I play all the time in them. I actually like playing in the 1s but I’m so scared to because they’re worth so much money so I only do it sparingly. The 3a are good too but you have to wear pants with them IMO. I’ve been hunting for 9s forever and cannot find them.

I think the 4s will be good.

Saw on IG the following release dates for 4s:

white cement - early Feb (Nike are tab)

Bred - April/May (Jumpman tab)

I don't think any of the retros are great to golf in besides the 11s. My favorite Jordans to actually play in are the Flight Runners, the Trainer STs, and the 11s.

I would spend ridiculous money if they ever brought back the Flight Runners in more colors.

You ever own the 9’s?

I did, but I didn't like them when I first got them. That may only be because I liked the Flight Runners so much more and there hadn't been many other Jordans released yet. Now, having tried many more of the Jordans that have come out since then, I'd probably appreciate them more.

They have that same sole, they had the same feel as the trainers, but I felt you had to go down .5 size. I honestly feel like they should make the trainers instead of the ADGs. Lol that’ll never happen but one can wish

Flight Runners have been my go to shoe for a few years. Love those things, wish they'd bring that sole to some of the retros like on one of the 4s that I think Pat Perez had. I understand why they don't, but for function that sole works so much better.

These are too basketball for golf. LOL.

I love the 4s, but that sole looks flat and uncomfortable. The XIs are a great sole, especially with the react midsole. The 3s are ok too. I love the Trainer STs. The look and feel are fantastic. Unfortunately, my blue pair arent waterproof. The never were, but due to scarcity, I didnt return them. I just use them on dry days (we get a ton of those in Seattle... :eye roll:)

A ton of people keep saying some of the Jordan shoes are too basketball for golf, but they keep freaking selling out. Lol Of course some are more comfortable than others, the 11’s and trainers are by far better than the rest.

This is how I feel about every Jordan release. I wear Jordans in real life all the time.

For golf shoes, either the fit feels off, the styling feels too weird, or it doesn't feel like a performance shoe I'd walk and carry 18 in.

I saw the IVs, got elated, and realized I'd probably flip upon disappointment.

Curious to know if you have any 11's to compare? I find my 5's heavy compared to my 11's which is why I never walk in them.
