Not sure because the material is nubuck, surely leather is better for winter 🤷‍♂️

I just meant better for winter in terms of the fact that I wear more black and grey pants in the winter. What’s the differences between nubuck and leather? What do the jordan golf shoes have?

the jordan 4 golf black cement (bred) have already been completed for the most part - looks like more like nubuck since it has more of a matte finish

Yeah I saw that pic Pat Perez posted. I like them and hope they release them. That material looks similar to the wolf grey 5’s?  Where as the white cement 4’s are a little shiny?

yeah, the wc4s have a little bit of a shine to them since it's leather. you're right about wolf grey 5s being more of the nubuck material which looks like it's on the bc4s.

i have the wolf grey 5s and they hold up surprisingly well to moisture. i'm sure those water repellent spray treatments help, but i've just been making sure to let it sun dry after cleaning it up a bit.

Soooo... it's definitely a thing (as has been alluded to previously by our insiders here), but those look like regular Js. Anyway, stoked for low AJ1s, anxiously waiting for my first L next year.

 

EDIT: After reading more comments, it sounds like they have small integrated traction points. I dunno, maybe something like the AM90s? Anyway, I'm still excited to see them. Unfortunately, since they are spikeless, that means that even more people will be hunting for them. Lots of Ls to go around next year.

Yeah definitely just regular outsoles.  The silhouette looks like the Jordan 1 OG low.  Typically, the AJ1 "OG" low version uses better leather than the AJ1 "Retro" low version.  Also the CW is very reminiscent of the Dior Jordan 1 low that came out last year.  So yeah, most definitely you, me and many others will be eating Ls on this one.

Those Jordan 1s are such a disappointment to me. Same goes with the IVs and Vs, tbh. Just slapping in some cleats- or in this case some little rubber nubs- is just lazy to me. 
 

First they did the 1s, 9s and trainers all with the free midsole/outsole. Those were ok, but seemed lazy as well. “Let’s just put the TW tooling on all of them”

 

Then came the 3s, 13s and 11s. These were well executed. Definitely recycled the lunar control sole for the 13s, but it was a pretty damn good match anyway. By designing an actual midsole and outsole for golf, these 3 models were perfect. 11s still my favorite comfort wise!

 

Now they’re just slapping some “golfkickz” golf specific spikes onto the 4s and tiny little traction nubs onto the 1s? I see it as a missed opportunity. Imagine the 4s with some react cushioning or the 1s with a zoom strobel! Anyone think regular Jordan 1s are comfy? I guess you’d at least be walking on the grass out there…

 

Any insiders know of any other upcoming releases? So far we’ve got the 1s and ADG4. I’m still hoping for a black/red 11 like Bubba’s pair!

I wouldn’t disagree with everything you said but the 4G is definitely not just a regular white cement shoe with golf cleats on the bottom. I have the OG 2016 WC’s and the meshing is definitely different on the street shoe vs the golf shoe, which is modified for waterproofing reasons.

Without actually trying them on, I will withhold judgement on the comfort of these new 1s. However, I can see what you're saying. The golf Dunks are heavy, flat, and just not comfortable. I love my pair because... Dunks. I have no problem if they decided to add the Free sole to any release. Those are SO comfy. Agreed, the 11s are pure. Awesome design and implementation. The leather on the 3s and 11s is really nice. Super soft and supple. 

 

As noted before, I think I'm most disappointed about these being spikeless because everyone and their mother will be trying for these. With actual cleats, it might deter... at least people's mothers from trying to cop.

I’m looking forward to Luke Donald’s PEs- I’ll bet he’ll have some some spikes. I just wonder what midsole/outsole he’ll have.

I may have gone off on a rant there… and it seems like I’m playing both sides. I’m looking for classic Jordans which have updated cushioning and traction for a walking golfer.  With all the talk of golfers being more athletic ,etc and coming to the sport from other sports, I guess I’m just looking for the signature golf Jordans to be more athletically inclined. 
 

With the popularity of the free sole, I wonder what an updated version would

look like… just a thought!

wrong but a pair of 2019 bred’s go for about $600 resale when it’s all said and done, plus the sole swap. I wouldn’t have waited but hey, if it’s your favorite shoe then congrats.

I still haven’t worn my 2019s. Beating my 2012s to hell haha
