I know I am getting ahead of the skis here, but how do the 6s compare to 4s or 12s? Do I get the same size in those? I wear a 10.5 or 11 in most shoes other than Jordans. I have gone 10s in my Jordans.

Guy on FB group is saying that he has seen pictures of the Jordan 6 Retro and it's a high top with a hard sole (like the 4's and 5's).

The catalog doesn't mention the cut height (2015's were lows) but does say it will have a Free Sole, not the hard sole.

Anyone know enough to confirm/deny? Zona?

He certainly sounds like he knows what he's talking about and it's certainly possible the catalog is wrong.  Just seems like a very specific/important thing for the catalog to be wrong about when it involves a consumer favorite but no longer produced aspect of the shoe.

Damn, I was hoping it was going to be trash like the 2015 model so I didnt have to chase.

I get why people want a hard bottom so it actually looks like a retro but that doesn't really make for a good golf shoe.

Same.  I was hoping for the Free Sole like the 2015 model to make them better for walking.  I like my 4's, 5's, etc., w/ the hard bottom but I only wear them when riding.

Totally agree. I do have a few that arent worn (yet), but with the rainy season in full effect, I'm not gonna wear a fresh set of shoes out on the course quite yet. Probably wont see the course until May. But will probably get out to the range a few times before then.

 

That being said, I do have an unworn pair of the AM1G Pay Day. I just cant bring myself to do it knowing that all that "money" in the sole will be gone the second I step foot on grass.

Eastside Golf has a raffle right now for the UNC low golf 1s and the mint and black ones. I entered for the UNC's - probably my favorite colorway and I missed out.

It stays in the channels of the sole. Here's mine I forgot to clean 2 years ago. Too many other shoes.

It does eventualllly fall off, but it sticks around for a while. Mine no longer have it on the bottom. I wear them a ton though.

Final and Rose were wearing them at the Farmers 

lol wasn’t a good look when Finaus foot totally slipped from under him on his approach shot I think on 18 final day.  Totally came out during his swing. Oof

I didn’t think they looks like mids. I thought they looked like lows but something looked different, like the tongue was bigger. Camilo has worn normal jordan 1 lows while golfing before, so maybe they were not the jordan 1 G and were normal sneakers.

I'm officially done with the Jordan 1 Lows.  They're just really uncomfortable shoes for me.  Sold the pairs I had.  If the Jordan 11's ever come back with a golf version I'll try a pair of those, but the 1's are over for me.

Did a thing today... my son is a junior golfer and turning 11 next week.  Found a good price on a pair AJ4 Golf Military Blue's in his size.  Hoping I'm not creating a monster but couldn't resist.  Usually I buy used jordans for school once or twice a year b/c you can find them for great prices for kids and in great condition.  But this will be his first jordan golf shoe.

Military Blue was my first ever Jordan way back in the 90s. So you are creating a monster but it’s the best kind of monster.

Love it. My son is 10 and playing in junior golf tournaments. I got him a pair of fire red jordan 5 golf shoes at a great price on eBay last year. I already have his next size up ready for this season in a jordan 1 low.

Yeah I noticed that the smaller sizes of the fire red 5’s are really affordable. Almost pulled the trigger on a pair but I spent a little more on the military blues.
