Thanks! With the tool they pull around 60, hoping for half that.
Those Taylormade weights fit the Tour Spider putters, and people always want to tinker with the weight. Which weights are in the case?
I'll have to check when I get home.

Had to check eBay and there aren't many of those Odyssey towels on there so it could be worth some.

Yeah I found one out of package go for $15. I expect the Scotty to bring me past the bag itself and everything else is keep or profit.

Last night I bought a set of Callaway X22 Tour 3-P with brand new Golf Pride grips and Project X 5.0 shafts for $80 locally. I plan on putting them up this weekend for a small profit.

I feel for the guy, he's selling his father in laws collection after he passed. Was a scratch golfer. I saw a Scotty, multiple sets of irons, many woods and drivers, and a ton of other putters. Big money. He had it all priced based on what he said was a site for trade in and values, maybe PGA.

I almost wanted to try to offer consigning for him on eBay to get a better value and done quicker but didn't even know where to start.

Also felt odd buying the clubs just to resell.

I wish his big brother and little sisters would have been with him, but I will take a single MacGregor Tommy Armour 945W any day of the week. Welcome addition to the small, but growing, Mac collection. Fairly certain this is authentic mid 50's, although it has been refinished at some point.

Ok, so what were you doing in my garage?!? Seriously, nice club. I put mine in the bag and played it for the first time recently. I found it to be a very consistent club for me. Good distance and predictable ball flight. Mine is identical to your's, including the part about being refinished. I like it so well it is my number one tee club, and I have stopped carrying a driver.

Nice club.

Finally got my hands on it today and your description is about perfect. Very solid piece of persimmon. I could swear the sound of the ball coming off that club was different than the Hogan 2 wood (1958 Precision 100 Saber) I was hitting with also. It a very satisfying "squish" sound is the only way I can describe it. Already in love with it.

Picked up a Sun Mountain 3.5 Superlight stand bag at the GW today.

Not sure what year or how to price it. Got it for $12.99.

FcZpK7Rl.jpg

That's a nice carry bag you scored there. It would likely sell quickly on your local buy-n-sell website for 2 or 3 times the price you paid and you wouldn't have to bother shipping it. Just an idea.

Or you could follow good classic forum hoarding etiquette and fill it full of clubs then place it with the others. Or hide it if needed.

I copped a set (4-PW but NO 9 iron) of Cally X18s today.

Generally just about any set of clubs missing a club I am going to walk from at this point in my life, but I am a sucker for a set of Callys in GW (that aren't $6.99 per club, like the 1996s I walked from last week).

The set I got are X18R, not X18s. Not sure what the difference is between the two.

Speaking of others lol.

Picked up this basically brand new Ogio Kingpin II for another $12.99.

They had a green Titleist stand bag but it was very basic and had some definite wear.

I'm with you on the Callaway's. I picked up a set of Fusions without a 7 iron and a set of X20's with no pitching wedge for $2.59 a club this year. It's easy enough to find the missing club on Ebay and still be all in for a great price.

the R stands for Re-issue.

I recall seeing those at a local GS in either 2008 or 2009.

they were not a full bore thru, thus the head design was a tad different from the original X18's.

best to you.

Yes. Actually did find that info out on them last night. My options are: sell the PW, put the PW and 9 iron X forged I got out a dump as my 9 and PW or I can try to get the 9 iron.

So update on the purchase that brought mr here.

I bought 4 Titleist and 5 Travis Mathew head covers for $1.99 each.

I've now sold all but one TM that I'm keeping.

I sold it all for 383.47, after shipping had it at 362.94.

Spent $17.03 for $314.92 after fees.

Profit of $297.89.

(Only thing left is to ship the 3 TM covers)

I got a TM Aero Burner head out of the dumpster yesterday. Need to throw a shaft in it now.

After a crazy hot streak I have been cold as ice.

Like selling on eBay, my window is from Masters week to PGA Championship week.

I think donations to the local GWs fall off outside of that window as well.

How many GWs do you reckon you have within your radius?

I estimate I have two dozen (give or take) here in the Cities. Though the really high income per-capita GWs are on the other side of town, or at least a number of them are.

I have about 18 or so that I visit regularly. The one closest to me is the best producer which is convenient. LOL

I just checked and looks like there's 30 GWs in the Cities here. That said, some of them are 30 miles away and places I will never hit.

Four or five cities have two Goodwills within their city limits, as well.

If you include Salvation Army's, and the various other thrifts, there are many many more than that.
