What does WRX in GolfWRX mean?

I'm sure its a simple answer and not the GOLF WORKS that I thought it meant...

I've been told it is WRX (the letters) and nothing more. I still say WORKS because that's what I assumed it was. In reality I still have no real clue.

well rolling things out "golfworks.com" was already a website domain name... probably the copying of Ping with their usage of "WRX" (which of course is cool)... and you get GolfWRX.

I had the incredible fortune of chatting with Richard a bit and was intrigued as to the whys and hows this place came about. Interesting story to say the least and the real foundation of this website is to allow golf fanatics a place online to openly share information sans any biases that might exist in the interest of profiteering.

 

In that light my take on it would be the name means whatever each member wishes for it to mean. Could be "works", could be W-R-X. So long as the information is flowing and the members are truly enjoying their time spent here I think it is mission accomplished. My apologies up front to the management if I am WAY off base here. : )
