Most visible colored ball in rough?

If you are willing to try a mid-grade ball - the Callaway Superbold Red will burn your retina. They actually have pretty solid greenside performance. 3 pc ball and the cover is pretty tacky.

 

Most shops have them for sale individually so for a $3 investment give them a try.

This may sound wrong, but the Volvik Vivid green actually stood out in the rough better for my eyes, also great into the grey sky for tracking the ball flight.

 

I found the Wilson Duosoft "green" to quite visible as well, moreso than the Duo yellow. The Duosoft pink is the most easily seen ball I have played.

Yes, ever since the Volvik Vivid boom, every OEM is coming out with the neon colored and matte finishing. The speed of copycats are quite prompt, one can count on less than one business cycle after shown some success in the market.

But I had found the Volvik still has the most visible color.

 

When I say the Vivid green in the proshop, I questioned the color choice of green because the grass is green, right ? Actually it was quite surprisingly visible in the grass and while airborne, after I had a chance playing one, I was convinced this green colored golf ball will stand out as well as the vivid red.

I kind of like the Vivd XT feel and distance, would not mind to stock it up if the pricing is lower.

DUO is my Winter golf ball for years, before all the other "soft" golf balls came out.

Perhaps I will give the new green DUO soft a try next time.

Really like the XT in VIVID.

I played a Maxfli Softfli matte green and it was so bright that it was distracting. However, my 67 year old eyes had no problem spotting the ball in the rough since they glowed like kryptonite. My grandson loves them while I go with the glossy white finish.

I have recently been playing Vice Pro in the red and the green. Both are very visible in the rough. I actually preferred the green. It seemed easier to track in flight and weirdly more visible on the ground. 👍

Personally, I've found that orange is the most difficult for me to see followed by red.    For me, white, yellow or green seem to be the easiest to track.

As said numerous times, it is Volvik vivid. I hate how they feel, but you will have trouble losing them
