The fact anyone is taking this serious is hilarious!!bits pretty obvious he was goofing around playing to the crowd. If you truly believe he couldn't knock one of those balls on the green if he was trying, I have some wonderful business ventures I'd like to discuss with you.

whatever crack you are smoking, it must be good....lol....

I'm not sure what I just saw :shok: Certainly contradicts the whole "I"m making progress" statement he made about 5 minutes before. :censored2:

yikes... I agree, that was hard to watch

I don't see him coming back this year

and i don't mean that in hate, I love the guy, but the GOAT doesn't miss 3 from 102 like that when he's ready to play, warmed up or not

I know. Tiger is my favorite player, but that was really tough to watch and be optimistic after seeing it!

Brilliant PR move by Tiger. Rinse a couple shots, commit to Memorial and now most of the pressure is off because no one expects anything other than a MC.

Haha! I'll Humiliate myself now when it doesn't matter so when I play for real and Humiliate myself, it won't Shock anybody.

The first swing almost looked like he was trying to hit it in the water. It looked like a pitch shot.

My guess is it was some sort of charity closest to the pin against Tiger contest.. does anyone believe he's going to warm up and try to stick one to 2 inches against some wounded warriors? He was obviously hitting it in the water on purpose.

He never looked comfortable, he was groaning and sounded like he was struggling the whole time.

Sure, dude.

Well, dude, what's more plausible. Tiger goofing for the crowd for charity and dropping a few in the drink. Or one of the greatest golfers of all time skills are so bad that he can't hit it 100 yards. Dude, you're so right!!!

Take it with a grain of salt but I saw something on Twitter about how it was a Veteran's closest-to-pin contest and a vet had stiffed it. In the past, Tiger had admitted to letting someone win the prize by intentionally botching his shot, so it's plausible this was semi-intentional as well.

Either way, lol at those so quick to hit the panic button or circlejerk to Tiger's "failure."

Again, if he hits one in the water, no big deal, no coverage. Why do three in a row? He could just as easily have blocked one over to the right side of that massive green and let his group win the challenge.

Considering all the hype the TW camp has been spinning the past month about a Memorial return and U.S. Open registration... your hypothesis runs completely counter to that direction.

Um... did you notice the guy with the mic? He just happened to have another ball in hand when Tiger said asked "can I hit another please?".. then, he gets tossed another ball before Tiger hits the third? Yeah.. no way this was planned. Wow, there are some gullible people out there.

Um, it looks like he has a sleeve in his hand. How many golf balls in a sleeve?
