All the holier than thou people on this site are ridiculous. I honestly pity you guys. How crappy are your lives that you let someone making $10 on the bst get to you? Why do you care? And even more so, why do you feel the need to voice your opinion?

If they are selling 3-4 pairs, as stated, they will probably end up getting enough cash out of the whole deal to cover the cost of the pair of shoes they kept. Seems more than reasonable to me.

 

Yeah, I'd be more ok and understanding if he was making a solid amount versus 5 bucks. At 5 bucks I'd personally rather pass along the good deal to somebody who wasn't able to take advantage and paid cost and shipping. Also the fact of just snagging a random assortment of sizes strictly for flipping is kinda weak.

 

But personally if somebody was selling and getting 100 for them and 70 bucks profit, while it would still be taking advantage of the situation.....I think most people would understand and not pass up 70 bucks.

 

Seller buys 4 pairs of shoes to sell. Got them for a good price, doesn't buy/sell for a living and isn't greedy; so prices them to make an extra $40... enough to cover a pair of their own, or pay for their next round of golf.

Seller buys 4 pairs of shoes to sell. Got them for a good price, and sees an opportunity to sell for a lot more than they bought them for. After all, there are at least a few Nike-loving golfers on the forum they could take advantage of, if they put it out there. Prices them to make an extra $280, if they sell at their asking price.

However, they did put their time and effort into acquiring them, and it's an opportunity to make a decent amount of money. After all, they own the shoes, so they can sell them for whatever they want. Fact of the matter is that you are faulting a seller for charging to little for the items they are trying to sell.

 

It's a person who just wants to make an extra $40, for goodness sake. If you want to point the finger, point it at Ross. Based on your logic, maybe they should've charged more than $30-$35 in the first place.

I think the $10 he's making is more than fair. I'd gladly pay $20 more if I didn't have to go into another Ross store to hunt these down. In reality, none of us owe each other any favors. That being said I've passed deals along for cost+shipping but I'm not going to fault someone for making $10 on a pair of shoes to offset the cost of his own.

I was in Jacksonville NC for work and happened to be by a Ross and Burlington. Popped in both but could only stay for a few min. I was able to get the blue/green Bermudas for $30.

 

The Ross actually had some lc3 for $30 as well. Had the pink and grey in 10, 10.5 and 11. They had the white and green in 11-12. I might go back there this weekend and pick some up for y'all if you'd like. I will update on Friday if I am going. It's an hour away so it's 50-50 right now.

 

Also - in going to my local Ross tonight after work. I was in last week and they have only the waverly in white, brown, grey and blue. If anyone wants a pair, pm me with your cell so I can text you while I'm there. Let me know a size and color you'd like. Side note, I feel the waverly runs a 1/2 small. I bought the 10s like all my other Nike shoes and they are snug. Which is why I'm going back.

Like I said, You cared enough to post your thoughts in a topic you don't care about....Also if you didn't disagree, you wouldn't be posting what you are. Also why do you care what I or somebody else posts on a internet discussion forum....how does it effect you? Or impact your life? or Why keep coming back to the dnd threads of they bother you that much? Same you're asking others.

 

It doesn't change my life any, and I don't care per se of what he did.....I just thought it was tacky. Ive never thought he was wrong or trifling to have done it.

 

Same as when people try and sell things they win, sure ultimately it's up to that person.....doesn't mean others may not feel it's weak to do.

Just cleared out my local Ross. Got all of their LC3s for guys that PMed me. They mostly have 9.5, 10.5, 11.5 and 12. No 10s (which is what I need of course.) They had the white/volt and pink/grey.

 

The only ones that I have not spoken for are a size 12 LC3 grey/pink. PM me if you want them.

 

 

Edit - they also had a pair of the lebron 12 lows in 10.5 that I passed on. They were the Bright Cirus/White/Total Orange colorway. They were $65. Passed on them because it wasn't a crazy deal, but if anyone wants them, let me know, I can probably go back tonight or tomorrow.

Right? I had no idea Ross carried kicks like that. They had Chris Paul Js, Steph Curry Underarmor , other Jordans and all sorts of good things for like 60 bucks. Will have to make sure to go back when my bball shoes wear out lol….
