Exotics CB2 5w.

One more vote for CB2 18*. High flat bomber, very forgiving, just the right size.

Exotics XCG7 Beta. I thought I found the best 5 wood in the Bio Cell+, but the XCG7 knocked it otta the bag. I have the 3 wood too. Both are solidly in the bag.
what different between the xcg7 and the bio cell+?

my current 5w has been very good to me for the last year or so - BBA 815. Provides the right distance and height I'm looking for. Only other one I'd consider putting in the bag lately would be the r7 TP - like a Vsteel but goes farther and spins less. I've played so many different 5 woods over the years. The best ones I've had were the 980F, Vsteel, CB2, RBZ Proto (07 Burner TP shape) and r7st TP. I've never been as confident over the ball with any lie as I am with the BBA 815. The r7 TP was killer from the tee but just good from the grass unless it's windy, then it's the best 5w ever.

This! R7TP at 17.5 loft with the Vista Pro stocker. Actually went further than my R7TP TS which didn't get enough height for me. Basically a 4 wood. Titanium face, adjustable weights, perfect shape....

I was questionning something myself earlier today. What are the difference between somthing like the g30 hybrid and fairway. The shaft on the fairway will be longer, i know that. But i just bought a g30 19* and when i look at it aside my i25 19*, the g30 look almost like a fairway wood. So big. Will there be really a difference between a 19 hybris and a 19 fairway?

V steel with graphite design ys-6+ shaft

V Steel. / Thread

V steel was my best. Still miss it.

V-steel all day long. A 5 wood is a club you have to use like a swiss army knife, bad lies, rough, etc. The V Steel handles those duties with ease.

VSteel. Compact head that is easy to use from all lies.

Yes, yes, yes, yes and yes.

I stopped looking when I got an X2Hot Pro and stuck a Fujikura Motore F3 90x in it. Good enough. I don't carry it anymore though. I have come to prefer the 4 wood to the 3/5 combo.

It is interesting though that the same few 5 woods keep coming up. I wouldn't expect that.

LOVE that shaft in my 5w. Too bad the F3 90 are hard to find because they are amazing fw shafts.

    • APPLY NOW: L.A.B. Golf MEZZ.1 Putter (Early Access) Member Testing! 10 Testers Needed!
L.A.B. Golf is choosing ten GolfWRX members to receive their MEZZ.1 putter early and put their brand new product to the test before reporting back to the community about what they see. The selected testers will be one of the first to experience the MEZZ.1 from L.A.B. GOLF, their newest Lie Angle Balanced design, ahead of it's January 2022 launch!

About The L.A.B. Golf Mezz.1 Putter
MEZZ.1 is our new mid-mallet putter that’s fully CNC machined from a billet of 6061 aircraft aluminum (body) and 303 stainless steel (midsection) to create our best-feeling — and we think best looking — putter to date. It includes 10 weights (eight on the bottom, two on the sides) that allow us to individually build each putter to a golfer’s exact specifications.

      How To Apply
In a post below, answer the following questions.

      1. City, State?
      2. Handicap?
      3. What is your current putter?
      4. Have you ever used a L.A.B. Golf putter?
      5. Why do you want to review the MEAZZ.1 putter?
      6. Do you agree to participate in an ongoing testing thread, posting reviews and photos?

That's it! @labgolf and GolfWRX will choose the testers in about 2 weeks! This testing event is for good-standing members in the USA only!
