I really like the Callaway BB Warbird 5 wood but I would say the favorite one is when Taylormade came out with the R5 one which was the first titanium one during that time. Sweet low profile style and hot off the face for sure!

Typically play an 18* hybrid and have struggled a lot with 3 wood of the deck. My Adams super LS 3 wood is a monster off the tee so when I had a chance to get a cheap Super LS 5 wood, I jumped on it. Oh my... Super easy of the deck / rough and just as good off the tee! Long and straight!! Set to 17* and I don't need a 3 wood anymore!!!

I've an Aeroburner 5 wood in play for a couple rounds now and I love it. Might be the best 5 wood I've ever played. Either it or the 906F4. That 906 is one of the best ever.

Aeroburner is very very long and forgiving. A lot of good choices out there, but I tried most and nothing beat them AB.

First place: My favorite fairway ever owned- 200 tour "duffy" 17* w/ original green Fuji TS 869

 

Second place: Current sole fairway in bag: V steel with purple ice 85x.

One of my favorites was an old TM Burner 5 wood. This was the same head as the original k-sole Burner Bubble head but instead of the orange head, it had a grey painted head and instead of the Bubble shaft, it had the olive FlexTwist shaft.

Nicklaus Airmax 35-s. It had an amazing feel and was super easy to hit off the ground. I did not bag a 3 wood for years because I could hit it so well. I gave it to my son, I told him to never get rid of it.

Exotics XCG7 Beta. I thought I found the best 5 wood in the Bio Cell+, but the XCG7 knocked it otta the bag. I have the 3 wood too. Both are solidly in the bag.

I also have the 2007 TM Tour HFC 3 wood and 5 wood but, while they may be the best FW's I've ever owned, they are better clubs than I am a golfer. But still fun to hit.

2008 Callaway X 5-fairway wood. Bought it used, had it now about 5-6 years. It's my driver replacement. I tee it low and never over-swing; it's guaranteed to split the fairway for at least 240 yards. Great solid sound to it. Acquired a Titleist 915H 2-hybrid at 18 degrees this year, and it just edges the Cally, but is a little more finicky if it's not a center of the face hit (still learning...). Best $45 I ever spent for my long game.

I haven't hit a ton of fairway woods like a lot of people on here, but I have a Callaway Razr Fit Xtreme 5w that I adore. I get excited every time that distance comes up because I love hitting it.

Yup. Just insane how versatile these things are. The small head gets through any lie, and the feel is just fantastic. I will play mine until it falls apart.
