I just love my ER8, had to change the grip to a standard firmer feeling rubber grip. This improved the feel a great deal for me, as the impact is so soft and muted compared to other metal faced putter heads. I use an IOMIC Large “Pistol grip”.  370 g head all paint cleaned out from the head and shortened to 33,5” in length. Best putter I’ve ever had, will stay in my bag for the foreseeable future. As the original ER8 has been discontinued from the “Line Up” with Evnroll, I’ll never let it go……:-)

Always wondered how the OG ER8 compared to a Scotty Del Mar. Similar head shape (which I love) from what I can tell, but I personally have not been able to roll the ER8 before

Sorry for late reply ScottHutch2. I havn't tested the Scotty Del Mar, but from my experience working with Titleist and all Scotty's I've tested I would guess the biggest difference in feel would be the muted sound and feel you get from the Evnroll. A little less dailed back in the Scotty. Once you get used to the muted feel of the Evnroll, I think the face milling and it's forgivness of the Evnroll outperformes the Scotty. As of quality, they're very simular I'd say. If you use a shorter length putter, make sure you get the right head weight. I use the 370 g head and that gives me a swing weight right in the slot I want it to be, to get the right feel and balance when swinging. 🙂

I just picked up an er11v after trying it out a bunch of times at the PGA Super Store near me. I got it with a short slant neck. After some practicing I really like this putter. Also, called EVNROLL to see if I could buy an in-line neck and heavier weights so I could tinker with it. Wasn’t a Problen and not really expensive.

surprised these putters don’t get more love here

I bought my 3rd Evnroll. I owned two Er2's in the past and for some stupid reason, I sold them. I never got along with the putters that I bought after my last ER2. This time I got the ER2B. I played my first two games of the season last weekend. 30 and 27 putts. Automatic (almost) from 6 feet and below. I will never replace this putter. lol

Lol...famous last words. I've had countless Evnrolls. Currently I have 3 of them because I wanted to test out different neck styles. I think I've figured out that the short slant is the neck for me. My ER8v seems to be the best putter for my stroke. I've gamed the ER5v recently with slant neck and for some reason have a tendency to pull shorter putts. I also have a ER2v with a long plumber neck and it works pretty well but just not as much confidence as I have with the ER8v. Maybe it would just take some more time.

Oh...almost forgot I just bought a ER2v MidLock on BST yesterday to try out 😂

Yeah I know! It's so stupid. But after what I went through in the last two seasons, I am done with putters. Actually, I just remember, this is actually my 4th Evnroll. I had one last season that did not make it to spring. I bought it in winter. lol

This is my first time with the GRAVITY grip. This combo is just unbelievable. So stable.

So I just received my THIRD ER2…..I have bought and sold it two other times and just keep coming back…..HOWEVER this time there is the metallic “Ping” (no pun) sound from this putter that I KNoW wasn’t there with the other two. I’m using a softer MTB black ball. I do have the gravity grip on this one, could that be the issue? I was just expecting the more muted sound I was used to.

This is absolutely driving me crazy. I thought my prov1 was bad at first

I have been trying out the ER2 for the past couple of weeks at PGA SS and Golf Galaxy- just feels unbelievable and I sank sooooo many putts. I pulled the trigger on one off EBay- hoping this is the one. 🤞

There is no doubt that the groove technology works. I love the softer feel and it’s rolls it better than anything else I’ve ever used. Good luck!

It’s because there is less material striking the ball, and to some extent the strike being cushioned by the air that is in the grooves. The easy solution for me was just to go to a heavier head.

How heavy is your putter? The one I ordered is two dots- not sure what that is in grams. When I tried it in the store, it felt so steady and I felt like my tempo was great.
The sound and feels was really nice- didn’t feel any dead spots, but that may just have been from putting indoors on fake grass.

I did a fitting at Evnroll HQ in Carlsbad earlier this year. I got this info regarding the weights:

V series 2021:

35” - 1 black dot - 350g

34” - 2black dot - 365g

33” - 3 black dot - 380g

Midlock - 3 black dot - 380g

Classics Silver and Black 2021-present:

35” - 1 red dot - 340g

34” - 2 red dot - 355g

33” -3 red dot - 370g

Classics Silver 2020:

35” - 1 black dot: 355g

34” and 33” - 2 black dot: 370g

Classics Black 2020

35” - 1 grey dot - 355g

34” and 33” - 2 grey dot: 370g

The ER7 that’s in my bag now is a 385gm head that I play at 33” with a Rosemark rubber pistol grip at 85gms that feels AWESOME! I tend to always putt better with heavier headed putters.

Same, I prefer a heavy headed putter; it doesn't take much effort to roll the ball.  Not an Evenroll but my present putter has a head weight of 435 grams, overall weight is 602 grams.

I want to try a composite shaft on a putter, and I don’t dare mess with my ER3. So I just dumped on an ER5vB with a slant neck and LA Golf SOHO shaft in green. Having the club builder change the red paint fill in the head to green and bend it to my spec (69* lie, 6.5* loft). Went with the standard Tour Tac grip. Should be here in a week or two.
