Good deals on Titleist at Global Golf

So I can't decide between a set of 714 MB's or AP2's. At $340 out the door including overnight shipping, it's really hard to pass up on. I might even have to get both. Anybody looking for a set of M2 tour irons? Haha!

 

I took the plunge on a set of 714 AP2's this weekend, cheapest I had seen them so now just hoping their "very good" is the same as my "very good"! :)

So my Ap2's came this morning. To be completely honest, they look brand new. Almost like a set that sat on a pro shop wall and were maybe hit a few times. What "bag chatter" exists appear to me to be from the poor packaging in shipping. What a deal these were. $340 for a basically brand new set of 714 Ap2's!

Saturday for me, if I'm lucky. The clubs are probably already at the FedEx hub today which is 20 minutes away. Smartpost is easily the worst shipping method in existence.

I think the overnight shipping cost me around $17. Completely worth it. I also live in the country(fed ex and ups both never deliver before 5:00pm), so I have fed ex deliver to the fed ex store nearest me. My packages are always there by 9:30am the day of delivery. Great experience all around as a first time global golf customer.

For anyone interested here is a photo of my "very good" AP2, it's only the PW but it has the most play. The irons look awesome - I'd have been happy if they had been sold as "excellent". Bonus photo of my bew "very good" M1. I am definitely a happy camper - was a little surprised w sparse packaging being reported, but everything arrived safely.

This was a different deal but I bought some Ap1 714's from the bargain bin which was an extra 25 percent off. Coupled with the extra 10 percent off code and my trade in credit for some AP1 710's I still have a credit of around twenty dollars to use.

Nice, I hope my "Very good" AP2's are just as good. $322 shipped cant be beat! Traded in an R1, 910H, Adams XTD Hybrid, TM Spider putter and 2 mizuno R12 wedges and still have $30 left in credit! Basically a bunch of stuff that would never sell on BST. Been looking to pull the trigger on a set of AP2's for a while now and this deal got me over the edge. I hope I like them!

They definitely raised the prices since yesterday. I picked up a driver from the 25% off bargain barrel yesterday and today it is $20 more.

Yea the ap2s are 545 before discounts and they were 525. Must be trying to recoup money lost on the titleist discounts. Mine should be here today thankfully.

My ap2s came in today and they are practically new! Got the loft and lie checked by my pro and they were right on standard specs as stated. They did ship them in an empty box with only rubber bands holding the heads together but luckily no damage...Thanks again for the heads up on a great deal OP!

I got a set of the AP2s today and they don't look like they have been touched. Luckily I also ordered a stand bag, so the clubs were wedged in pretty well and not bouncing around.

I bought a set of 716 AP1's. Condition was so so - pretty much what they describe as "very good". Maybe these irons are so new you won't get a killer deal. Anyway, keeping them since they are about the same condition as the X2 Hot set I'm trading in.

I will post wherever I damn well please and I'm not whining. I ordered some Titleist irons recently from them and was satisfied and you would know that if you have been following this post. I like globalgolf and have ordered from them many times but this was my first time trading in. Internet tough guys I swear LOL.
